I drink beer with my band what is the reasoning behind Saying we should not drink beer?

I had Lapband 15 months ago I am starting to eat more went and seen my dr had a feel 2 weeks ago I still feel hungry and can eat more than I could 2 months ago Is is possible my band has slipped off

Well I eat very small amounts just seems that I get hungry quicker no I have not gained any weight however I have lost no more either from my last 3 month appointment: since Feb 2012 I have went from a size 18 to a size 3/5

I had my Lapband 1 year ago and 3 months ago I have had fills but still feel hungry why is that
