  1. Morning all and Happy Mothers Day Ladies! Before I scheduled to attend the seminar for the lapband, I called my insurance company to see if it was covered and if so are there any restrictions. I was told that it was covered at 90% with a $250 deductible, $250 copay, & the remaining 10% will be my responsibility. I have Aetna Pos ins and thus far I haven't had any complaints. Is it really as simple as that or will I have to play wait game for the approval letter? I've chosen to go with a in network provider (Dr. Nagel) who performs out of a IQ (institute of Quality) according to Aetna. I hoping that will cut the out of pocket expense to a minimum. Just curious

    Does size matter?

    Thx all...great info!
  3. I've been reading so many success stories with the lap band and I notice some lost a little weight and some lost a lot of weight for the first 3 months. Does that depend on your size or your diet after the procedure?
  4. Hello all, I'm really excited I've decided to start my journey of weight lost. My mandatory seminary is May 23. I'm stuck in-between the lap band and gastric sleeve. I've been researching but I'm still not sure. Any suggestions?
