Banded Monday... Protruding Pain??

Haha. You don't need to sit to sleep. I spoke to my surgeon. The more movement the better. The body needs to get used to getting up and laying back down. My first night home I was in and out of the bed ALL NIGHT, every 15 minutes. No sleep. I needed help out of the bed but I was definitely up and down. It's like exercising the tummy. My pain is actually gone. And I'm only on day 3. Now all I have is discomfort. The feeling is ok. Remember, you DO have a foreign object in there. -

i was banded tuesday. Believe that's the port or actual band. When I lay down I feel the same "pushing forward" feeling. Feels like there's a ball/ bubble. Btw, what's lortab ? -
Third day post op. finally got to shower today and remove the dressing from my incision. However the little sticky things had to stay on. Of course some came off after I got out the shower. My incision looks bad, to me, I'm afraid it shouldn't look like this.

Hey everybody. I'm only two days post-op, but still haven't drank not even a full cup of water. It makes me nauseous. I remember reading on a lapband site that I can have sugar free Popsicles just once a day. Anyone else heard of this?

Must try. The ones I bought today were not delish but it wasn't broth so they tasted great to me since I haven't eaten in two days.

I'm trying. Just realized its the cold water that's making me nauseous. Going to try the room temperature. I'm just totally not hungry.

I had my lap band done Tuesday. The pain is almost unreadable. First night home all I did was walk and tap my chest like a baby's back. It's all trapped air causing gas. Walk and tap. It'll come out. Get some chewable gas-X tablets. They really help. My surgeon said it was ok to take.
