I have totally been eating lol. I did liquids the first week. 2nd week was mashed potatoes with little chicken or any meat protein. Now pretty much eating normal just small portions. Shes about 15 min from the SI Mall. I dont like the Protein Shakes so I avoid them n try to eat my protein. Im feeling good too.. I get my first fill next week. Cant wait.. Last year I was on weight watchers & not banded yet. I found out that I had to consume 42 points (they dont count calories, but each food has a certain point value) I felt that I had to eat sooo much food to reach my daily 42 points. As eating quite "rich" all my life it was even too much for me. I did lose 20lbs In 3 month and I was working out 5 nights a week. But I stopped it bc I couldn't keep up with buying all this food or carring a lunch box with me. I was banded on 7/10/13 ive dropped 20 lbs already since my pre op diet & post op. I feel the band is working for me as im to eat smaller portions more frequently than constantly chewing on WW. Haven been banded I no longer feel im on a diet nor starving or craving sweets, but experiencing something "normal". Hope this helps just my opinion. Side note; my friend has been on weight watchers for 2 yrs and only lost 50 lbs. Shes been at a plateau for 6 months, there's no band adjustments or bariatric dr to assist. Mine were removed today. Dr stated I can start using Merderma for scaring.

Adrienne, nope no staples either. kinda weird how they just healed lol.

I was told to rub merderma on the scars to minimize the appearance. i havent bought any yet, I kinda wanted to them the incisions breathe b4 I start rubbing stuff on them. Im badly bruised on pretty much all of the incisions.

OMG, so yesterday I went out shopping at Wal-Mart. I picked up a few things I can eat post op. I was out a lot longer than expected n I started to feel hungry. Does ur tummy burn when u get hungry? The hunger pain felt a lot different than pre op. Sent from my SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 using LapBandTalk
