Did I read that your DH is in the Army? My Dh WAS in the Army yeeeeeeears ago! We spent a lot of time in Dc, Maryland, Germany and he went to Korea for a year. My father was a MP in the Air Force, so I feel like the military has been a HUGe part of my life. Nice to meet a fellow Army wife!

You get daily posts in an email?...how??? I am going to check that out! That's what I need. We have this really cool park here that has 3 Roller Hocky rinks, so it is nice to learn how to skate in those. They are nice and smooth plus the wall is there to hold onto if you need it. This park also has a BMX bike area (yes, I have been thinking about trying that out too)...YIKES! also a skate park for skate boarders, my son loves that side, and a remote control car track. I even got the hubby out on Roller Blades last night, he did great but he used to play hocky. We were both like "ouch, my knees and my calves." It was funny and fun and Buster came along too, he chased after my boys it was hilarious! JillyPoo~I have a neighbor that walks her Corgie by my house everyday at the same times (2x a day). I adore that little guy! My son will run out of the house to pet it, then he always asks "can I get a Corgie." He is 18 and he can't take care of himself, so the answer is always "sure you can, when you move out." His new idea is to find some senior citizens to take to the animal shelter so he can use them to get a free adoption, he says he will adopt any Corgie and all the cats, oh yeah he wants a turtle, a guinea pig, and a hamster too! Feel free to ask away, we are all here to help each other with their new life journey! Cheers!

It's my bed time, but I would like to stay up and hopefully hear something about our Brandy! I am exhausted, I went Roller Blading tonight, all I can say is OUCH!

Theya re probably very young (judging by your age), I cheated. That is a tough call. My kids are OLD...18 and 14, they knew. I had many family "talks" about the band. They supported me all the way. Maybe some of the others with young ones will be able to answer better. I made my appointment for my fill!!! July 25th with Dr. K!! I haven't seen him forever!

Shelbie~Buster sends well wishes for Barkley! Mini~I LOVE Yurtin' and your tent (cabin) is incredable! We go to Sylvan Lake in Eagle County once maybe twice a year. It is awesome, we have the entire mountain to ourselves. We tend to get pretty loud! Life~Welcome home! Yes the scale has started to ever so slowly move for me. Since I started running and doing my wii fit. I still need a fill, I think I'll call and see if I can get one on my next day off, which isn't til 7-25! Jillypoo~Nice to see you here again. Adorkable~How frightening! You and Brandy have had a scary week. I am praying for you both. I hope US shows something. Are you on pain meds now? All day yesterday I spent the entire day slumped over with bad upper back pain, neausea and chills. I took some liquid tylenol and used my heat messager, it took all day, but today I feel a little better. I was terrified that I was having K stones again. Shelbie~3 pounds! Good job! oh Brandy sweetie! i am so sorry to hear! Kidney stones are the worst. I had one in Feb and I thought I was dying a very painful death. Thank goodness for morphine. I hope you are okay and I pray for your band. Please let us know how you are doing. I am so terrified to feel that pain again. i am sending you hugs!

WELCOME JillyPoo (cute name). Fills are tricky. I have had 8 or maybe 9...anyway, I agree with Dee, being mindful and careful are so very important. Everyone seems to take fills differently. It is very interesting how the Band is different for each individual. Congrat on finding our Dr. K and hope to see you around the thread! Dee~I was looking at my calendar and we were supposed to be in Vegas this weekend but we backed out. It would have been a blast being in Vegas at the same time, we could have TOTALLY gotten into some trouble together! Have a great time and be naughty! LOL!!! Interesting info about the sleeve. I actually thought if I had to do WLS again, I would consider the sleeve...didn't know about the vomiting for 6 months, that can't be good! I am happy with my band (I just need to get in for a fill....yesterday!). My Buster is back to his honory self! I love it! I thank him everyday for feeling better, he makes me happy! Lastnight we went for a walk/run and I saw a puppy Basset hound ahead of us and I kept trying to run and walk faster to catch up with them, I never did, but boy did we get a good workout! It started to hail and downpour rain, so Buster and I had to take cover under a tree and wait out the storm. I felt terrible because poor Buter just recovering from Pnemonia, and I knew it was going to storm, I just wanted to take a short walk/run before the storm hit, but I got side tracked when I saw the puppy. bahot...you are a hot! Have fun at the lake and water skiing! Lifesaver & Bahot~How was your lunch yesterday? Life, I wore one of your tops out the other night and got so many compliments on it! Thanks again. Munchkin~Good job, getting back on track! You can do it! The weigh in thing is, post what you want to lose by the BBQ date and weigh in every Sat. Aloha mi banditos! Whew, can I catch up??...lets see Dee~Your letter was touching, thank you for sharing that with us. All of the posts had me thinking...I live blocks away from my father and we have a good relationship, we see each other often (but not often enough). I wrote him a nice letter in his card this year, thanks gals for the boost. I thanked him for the good times and let him know that I appreciate him very much! Vegas...I hope the Vegas faries bring you good fortunes$$$ Have a blue slushie drink for me and Woofay....yummmy! Your picture is adorable! Mare~It is nice to hear from you, we missed you. I am sending you big bear hugs! So sorry to hear that you were tight and suffering, good thing you got that all taken care of and no you are back on track. My heart goes out to you for your loss.
