Deb~That lady at the top is Boo Boo Kitty, she has is a great inspiration. Search her postings, but yeah, I never noticed that she looks like Kathy Griffin...LOL Shelbie~Congrats on your PCP appointment. I have a dear friend that is a Physician and I saw him over the weekend and he told me that I look wonderful. It is always difficult for me to accept compliments. Lap~Your daughter is glowing, they look so in love! -

Oh my dear Lifesaver, I am sorry I wasn't online lastnight (my laptop is about to die). I tried to get on and then it shut off! I can imagine the heaviness you are feeling and the weight of your world crushing in and I am sorry to hear about it. There are things within our power to change and work with and then there are those that we feel helpless about. I am so proud of you that you were able to take charge and go to the gym, get a message, call a friend and post here...all very wise and very important for YOU. You have such great inner strength, I believe in you and that things will work out for you. I have heard that letting go of the toxic people in one's life is a huge yet challenging commitment, it must be difficult to have a parent be so toxic for you. Be true to yourself, keep your vision attuned and your personal power strong, you will work through this, one step at a time, one situation at a time. We are all here rooting you on! You have many people that care about you here and we are all sending positive vibes your way. :grouphug:sending you a group hug! -

Mini~I would just love to get another furry friend for my Buster (yeah, right, me too). I took Buster to play with my dad's dog over the weekend and he had such a blast. He is just the social butterfly. I'm a little nervous about taking him to the dog park (we used to go all the time), since he got pnemonia I have become the paranoid mother. And the other day when I was taking Buster for our walk we came accross a dog, it approached us and then started to growl and snap at Buster. Buster is such a goof, he just wanted to play. I had to grab the dog by it's collar and hold Buster by his collar with my other hand and I just had to hold them as far apart as I could until someone walked by to help me out. I didn't know what to do. Thank goodness this lady came by walking her dog and she went to look for the dogs owner (it had the address on it's collar). So now when I walk him I bring an extra leash and make sure I have my cell phone with me and a spray bottle of water. Let us know how the meeting goes tomorrow! JillyPoo~how did your phone consult go today? I'm sure Dr. K put your mind at ease and now you must be totally excited! Lotza~Is your surgery on Wednesday??? I have a meeting here in a few minutes better run! then it's off to the gym to work on my Couch to 5K! Later gals! -

Dee~I am so happy for you. Mini~INTERESTING info, thank you for the learning lesson. I too have been on anti depressants, truly need to get back on them. Zoloft works nicely for me. My weight loss stall really sucks and my fill can't come sooner! I have been losing and gaining the same flippin' 10 pounds for about 3 months now! I am sooo looking forward to my fill on the 25th! -
I do mine on the treadmill at the gym. I am slacking though! I am supposed to be finishing week 1 for the second time, but I have had other commitments...uggggh! If I don't hit the gym right after work, I don't seem to make it. Today I have an appointment at 6, I am going to hit the gym after even if it is 8 or 9!!! Tomorrow another appointment at 6, Wednesday meeting with some local Lapband folks, thursday meeting at 6 and Frilday baseball game....where did my time go??? Oh yeah, the skates...love it! I used to skate all the time, I bought a pair of skates and blades and hit this park out here, we have three outdoor rinks (for hockey), but it is soooo much harder than I remember, still fun but man I don't remember it being so difficult! Haven't fallen yet though! Football?...HUGE Steeler fan, even got the three diamond tattoo! Have a great afternoon and thaks for all the support and advice here! I can't wait to run my first 5K, the Susan G Komen on my birthday this year in memory of my mother. Peace Love

lotza~I haven't heard of Dr. K asking anyone to do that. I didn't have to. Dee~I must painfully report that I have gained 1.2, I am going to struggle until my next fill. I want that good restriction you mentioned, I don't recall ever having that good restriction. Brandy~Happy Birthday you Beautiful lady! How's your FIL and family holding up? -

:party:Woofay~I missed your Birthday??? Well Happy Birthday!! Mini~Did I read that you are looking to get another furry friend? awwww, I am soooo jealous! Honestly, I look everyday for another dog or two. I know I can't get another one, but I go through many motions. I search Craigslist, the Humane Society etc. Sometimes I will contact the people and ask for pictures and other information, but I just can't take the final step. I know it's strange, I want another (million) dog/s, but I just can't! I am so excited for you though, what are you going to get? My Buster has moved his favorite spot from under my desk to ontop of my desk! I don't know where that came from. He just started to jump onto my desk and he lays there. Such a silly spoiled boy. Life~i can't wait to hear how the hike went! Did you start the Couch to 5K? I really enjoy it, I am on week 2, but I am repeating each week twice. The other day I forgot to take a hit off of my inhaler before my workout, but I did fine! Brandy~Any news on the FIL? How's the family holding up? Let them all know that we are all praying for him. Shelbie~you deserve a break today...no no not Mc Donalds, a break from your excercise. Way to go on the no red meat (that would be so very difficult for me), the Oats, I really enjoy them, I told my dad about them today and he is going to get some too. Buster says "hi" Munchkin~Have you ever bought the Doggie Ice Cream for your babies? Buster goes crazy for that stuff! I want to start a Doggie Ice Cream truck that goes to the Dog Parks, Vets, Pet Stores, Parks etc...what do ya' think? My husband thinks I have lost it (again). Heck I would buy some if I were at the dog park, or coming out of the vet after shots (awww). I would have Water, treats, misty sprayers, and of course ice cream! Later gals! -
Whosya~WOW! I am sooo proud of you! and thanks for the support here. I started the Couch to 5K and I LOVE it! I took your advice and I walk at 3.0 and run at 4.0, so far it is just right for me. I am so glad that I found this thread. I decided to repeat week one and possibly each week if needed. MS~I will have to miss day 2 of my second week and I am sooo bummed about it! SugarBean~Thanks for the 8 minute arms, I'm going to check it out. Bonnie~Go get week 2!! Good for you! mamato3~Enjoy your day off! cutiew/booty~your name is sooo cute! Congrats on finishing your first day! Hang in there, we will be running marathon's before ya' know it!! Happy Friday all!

Brandy~It amazes me how patients leave the hospital so quickly. I am happy to hear that your FIL is doing so well! -
Dr. Kirshenbaum (you can check him out on my signature), he is in Colorado, he charges $9950, that includes everything, plus three months follow up, fills are $15. He is amazing. I have met many people that have gone to him from all over. Alaska, Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, Minisota...we have a thread here, considering Dr. Kirshenbaum. Good Luck, I hope your insurance wil cover it for you. I think Dr. K only takes self pay patients, not 100 percent sure about that though.

Dee~The Steel Oats I bought are called McCann's Quick and Easy. I bought it at Wal Mart. Did I get the right stuff? They had two, one was the regular kinda nd then they had this instant stuff. I had some for breakfast again, with a little honey, sunflower seeds and a 1/2 banana. It was good and kept me full a lot longer than my usual protien shake. Widow~what book? If it is the Lap Adust Gastric Banding by Jessie Ahroni, I have that one. It was okay. Most of the info I already knew, but it was good read. I also bought the the book by Dr. Ortiz, I liked that one better. I think I loaned that one out to some one at RR... -

I hope your heart is healing. Pedro was sending you a message that he is with you when you found his toy. -
oooops! I thought you could play wii fit online with others, but I guess you can't...sorry about that. Navywife~i hope you find one soon. I was shopping at Wal Mart and I saw a customer wit one in his cart, so I took off to the electronocs department and there were five! I tried to buy all of them for my other LBT buddies, but they only allowed me to purchase one. I went back a little alter and they were all gone. It is like a hit or miss ituation. I had talked myself out of wanting one just before I got it. Good luck!
