Glad to hear that you had a good time at the pool, sounded like a lot of fun. I lost my mother 23 years ago (wow, it does not seem like that long). I know how you feel and how your emotions tend to take over even when you might not be thinking about her. I am thinking about you this is a difficult time for you, allow yourself to grieve. Hugs!

Shelbie~Your hubby sounds like a lot of men. My hubby is supposed to be watcing his diet and excercise...he is watching it go out the window! It is so hard for me NOT to nag. I didn't look at the recipes in the book, I mostly looked at the before and after pictures and read a little about the workout program. The pancakes sound yummy though. I swear I have been working on this chicken too long! I am done with it! Oh yeah, tortilla chips...fahget ahbaht it! Any mexican food is my weakness. I could eat nachos everyday! Actually I had a chicken taco for lunch today!

I am soooooo sorry to hear what you are going through. Yes, the surgery is for you. You deserve to be happy, you deserve this. Your hubby might not understand, but you know what you want. Honestly I hope you do the surgery and you do it for yourself! Thoughts and prayers

Woofay~Thanks for the book site! Lifesaver was telling me about the Body For Life program. I was supposed to go to the gym tonight but my dad finally found a dog and I just had to go visit...cute little guy. I think he is a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier somehting like that. I just had to take Buster over to meet "Tofu", don't you just love that name?? I guess I'll ride my bike tonight...in the dark...LOL!! Taynuh~Nice to hear from you! Dee~Lifesaver went to see Sex in the City, she loved it. I never watched the show. I am surrounded by males and everytime that show came on they would change the channel. From the bits and pieces of the show that I saw, I know I would like it. John...what did you think of the movie? I forgot to get Splenda at the store, can I make the cookies without the splenda? Can I just use the PB, egg and vanilla? I am eating chicken breast strips for dinner and my band does not like it, my band wants cookies...bad band! Bahot~how was the day at the pool? Beahot~Sounds like you found some really cute swim wear! I saw so many cute pieces. I wouldn't even try any on. Wal mart did have a good selection! Shopping is another one of my addictions, yesterday I shopped most of the day and came home with NOTHING! I am having non buyers remorse, for not buying! Suze would be so proud, I know my hubby was. Have fun at the pool today! I hate that Cookies and junk stuff goes down so easily. I was doing pretty good yesterday until my son sat next to me with a bag of Flaming Hot Funions and a bag of cookies!

Thanks mini~I just recently added the running part (whew, that is hard stuff). Still no weight loss though. Lap~I heard from Dynamo, she sounds very happy and busy. I miss her around here too. beahot~I looked at swimming suits yesterday and today...I just can't do it yet. Please post what you found. There are some reallly cute styles and prints this year! and good response to your MIL! watchout for that rice, it tends to get stuck! How was your workout?

Shelbie!!! You are the Girl!! Okay, I am in denial! My scale says that I am exactly the same (to the ounce). I even changed the battery! I wanted to lose this week...sooo badly.....waaaaaahh. Out of pure desperation and an attempt to save face, I measured. Down 2 inches in the waist, one inch in the hips and a half inch in my upper arms. How is that possible? Two inches in the waist? Surely that is some lost poundage. My scale is my enemy!

mini~Please don't feel guilty, we all deserve to be happy and healthy, our band gives us the boost to help us get where we need to be. I am back safely from my late night bike ride. I just wanted to try out my new bike without feeling like the entire world could see me. It was soooo much fun! I was laughing at my self, I felt like a child again...funny!

I am going to go ride my bike in the dark! ha ha ha, I feel more comfortable riding it in the dark! I fear I will look like a circus act! I hope I don't run into anything! later gals!...and John, if your here!

Dee~I just read your post. I am so sorry you had a sad day. Even though you had a bad day, you filled our day with kindness, caring and wonderful words of wisdom. Thank you and bless you my friend! I made my boys rearrange TV's, dig out the system, search for the game, & pad...then I tried it a few times and was like "I am SOOOO OVER THIS." It is still sitting there all hooked up with no one to play it!

After dinner I felt so gulity, I took my Buster for his walk and ran a little. Adorkable~ Kudos to you, running kicked my arse! I want to start a running program, have been thinking about it, finally started last night. It was hard, my breathing was terrible, but it's a start. My goal is to run the Susan G Komen this year... lifesaver~I wish I could take your appointment next friday. I don't know when I will be able to get my next fill...I work from home, I teach preschool and I feel terrible if I have to close because it puts all the families in a bind. I have a back up, but timing is EVERYTHING! I could have done it this week, but next week doesn't work for me. I wish Dr. K would do an evening appointment or a Saturday every now and then.
