Thanks Woofay & Shelbie~I think my Buster is doing better. I didn't have to take him to the hospital last night because he started eating and drinking on his own (yes, I cried and cried as he started to eat)! He ate my boneless chicken thigh, I gladly gave it to him. I think your song is GENIUS! -

I still have that little voice, I have gotten rid of ALMOST all of my "fatter" clothes but I have held on to a few. When I buy clothes now and they are a bit smaller, I think to myself that "this doesn't fit right", like I want to wear my old clothes even though they hang on me. This is more of a mental struggle than I thought it would be. I need to believe MORE in myself . for some reason I can't do the multi-quote??? It never works for me, so I just qoute and add my own comments within...does that make sense? -

Thanks for the prayers! I think Buster is feeling better! I got him to eat and he is spending as much time in the bathroom with the vaporizer as possible. -

I won't make it tomorrow night gals. The vet's radiologist called and said Buster has pnemonia!!!!!! I have been balling and balling! If he doesn't seem better tomorrow, they want to put him in the hospital. I put him in the bathroom with the vaporizer running. I sat in there with him for the last 2 hours. I can't get him to eat or drink, but he did drink some of my Atkins shake. Do you think that is okay? The vet is closed and I can't find anything else he will drink. So I sent my hubby out for more. I think at least it is something in his system...I am so terrified, Buster is my WORLD! Munchkin~how is your Bailey doing? I am so sorry to hear about the seizures. -

Playing UNO! That is hilarious! Dogs are the best! My dad just adopted a JRT last week. I think that is how Buster got sick, I just had to take Buster over to meet Tofu. Tofu was rescued from a shelter and had kennel cough (I should have known better). I was such a mess yesterday, I don't remember exactly what the vet said Buster had??? She said that normally they don't run fever with KC and they don't lose their appetite or activity levels. They did x-rays and I do remember her saying his lungs were clear, no pnemonia. I just want him feeling better. -

Thanks gals, Buster is my WORLD and it tears me up seeing him like this. He han't eaten in two days and I have to force water in him with a syringe. He sees me coming and he looks at me like "no! just leave me alone." I cry like a baby evey time I have to give him his meds because I have to force it in his mouth and then hold his mouth shut until he swallows it. I hate this... -

Good morning! Well, lets see...my Buster is sick and my heart aches every time I look at him. He was exposed to kennel cough about a week ago but the vet thinks it is bronchitis(?). I was up with him all night. He won't eat, drink and I have to force his meds. I run my vaporizer for him all night and day. I just want him better. That being said, I haven't excercised, no long walks/runs and no gym (I guess I'll try the wii fit again today) I won't leave him, no one will take care of him like I will. Depending on how he is doing tomorrow, I will or will not make it to RR. -

Dee~My actual loss was 2.8, I guess I should take every ounce, it will all add up in the end right? I am so excited about my wii fit, I have such a busy day, I probably won't get to it until tonight or tomorrow. Which reminds me all you locals...today and tomorrow is free fishing in the state of Colorado, so go out and enjoy the weekend fishing, I am going with my Dad, hubby and my youngest son tomorrow. I haven't fished in yeeeeears. I'm taking my bike and roller blades (gonna give them a try on the trail). Life~What a fun memory of your brother, sorry to hear of his passing. I have two older brothers and I have some pretty funny memories too. You are a losing machine. I hope that the interval workout and running is what helped me lose this week, but DARN that was hard work! I don't want to have to work THAT hard every week...LOL just kidding ladies! Well, I am off to do MORE shopping (groceries, not fun stuff). PEACE LOVE, PEACE LOVE!! -

it was more like fun-ny that I skated. i haven't laughed that hard at myself for a very long time...oh wait, I did say "oh look at the Unicorns" at the zoo! It was a fraction of a second, but the remark was out and everyone around me heard. I was doing a Colitis/Crohns walk at the zoo with a group of physicians. Talk about embarassing! I managed to laugh hard at myself then too! -

what a fun subject! My first car was a soft top black jacked up jeep and I had "Flyin Hawaiian" printed on it! aww memory lane. I had to get rid of it because I was pregnant, not a practical vehicle for a family. I want my next car to be a jeep! But the first car I drove in HS (I had to share it with my brothers) was a red VW camper, we called it "the magic bus." fun times! The scale has been up and down daily, I am nervous for tomorrow... -

Here is another "drive by post"... Shelbie~Have a fun time at the beach with your family. I am there mentally, I tell ya', I need a beach vacation...YESTERDAY! Bahot~Cute daughter! Great color for a vehicle!! mini~OMG, I was where you are about the driving situation! I would NEVER drive on the highway, I would NEVER turn right, I wouldn't even put gas in my car and I drove a small car. Now, I drive a Suburban, drive in the mountians, highways, anywhere!...and I will turn right at a busy intersection without a turning light. I don't know what happened, but I did it and now nothing holds me back. Drews~if you are out there...I Roller Skated...FINALLY...last night. I am deffinalty not as good as I thought I was...LOL but I did it. Skated for about an hour. It was fun and I laughed until I was in tears. My hubby walked the dog, oldest son Roller Bladed and youngest son rode his bike. Funny how I envisioned myself just like I skated many, many year ago...not the case! Happy Friday to all! -

Hi widow~I remember you, nice to see you again! Congrats on your persistance and patience. My BMI was at 50 at time of surgery. For me my decision came pretty easy. I was terrified of the GB. Have you heard of the gastric sleeve? If I did not have the band and was considering WLS, I would research the sleeve. Let us know where your journey takes you. Wishing you well -
I am just over a year out and on my 8th fill, possibly needing my ninth soon.

Wasa~well wishes for a speedy recovery. Please let us know how your doing.

It came to visit me too! It usually does in the evenings. I thought of your mental ass kicking and tried it out, then I grabbed a protein shake, then I was fine, fell asleep, woke up hungry, had another shake...EVIL head hunger!
