Hi doll. Just saw this and I just have to say cancer stinks! You can make it through this. I know you can...I've heard how you have already survived some extreme stress situations before and I know you will make it through this one. Your brother is an amazing guy. His kindness and spirit has already blessed my family...I think he would be telling you you are worth more than that and he needs you to be strong and healthy for him right now. To help him make it through this. So, while it might be the last thing on your mind make your health a priority...lean on your good friends for strength and when it gets extra hard think about all the people praying and loving your family from afar.

8 weeks ago I was 1 month post op and decided to start the C25K program to help boost the weight loss efforts. I started out running at 30 second intervals and felt like I was going to D.I.E and could barely breathe... I almost quit. But I didn't...and I am so glad. Today I packed my kids in the buggy and ran 2 miles without stopping...30 full minutes. I didn't run fast, but I RAN. I've signed up for 2 5k runs in September/October and now I KNOW I can make that 3.1 miles. I love my lapband!

Thanks for sharing...I know I'll be doing some kind of surgery at the end of this journey...its always interesting and educational to see/hear others experiences.

Yeah..I'm not there yet. I thought I was, but it was just those first days after a fill tightness. Ive only had 2 so Lie you said...trial and eror. I'm going to urge my doc to do a full cc this next fill. He wants to go .5 each month from here on out. Charles...how did you determine your caloric needs for MFP?
