14 years ago I quit smoking, and as of today, I have gained 100 pounds. So, I wasn't always obese, I was a medium build as a young adult, and a bean pole as a child.
Obviously, I have an addictive personality, and gave up one vice for another. I hope after this surgery that my next addiction will actually be good for me ^_^
I am a mother of 28, 26, 22 and 6 year old. It is because of our 6 year old that I feel I need to be more active...he deserves better than what I can give him right now.
The best thing I have going for this surgery is my severe phobia of throwing up. It honestly is a phobia, so I am hoping that will help me police my eating habits.....and truly believe it WILL.
I am on my pre-op diet, and looking forward to getting through this to hopefully have a better quality of life.
