It goes away.. took a little bit but yes goes away.. heating pad walking water helped for me,, some people say gas x worked for them

Congrats!!! I was banded 4/24 and was down the same at my appt yest!

I know my nutritionist and surgeon both said not to worry about weight loss your first month.. your body needs to heal. and i know my first week (4/24) i was still swollen and sore for surgery. And i still am as it has only been 10 days. Wish you the best

LOL You sound like me patiently impatiently waiting for your date.. Mine took a good 4 months before i went in for my band.. .. it will come quickly you will see ... As for the food.. I enjoyed the foods i loved and in the long run because i didn't "pig" out or deprive myself i made the more healthy choices .. i did join WW a year before i made my decision to get the band so having the support of them helped a lot as well... I'm trying not to.. i have had some tell me they didn't loose any and then others say they have.. i guess it depends on the person..

ahhh scar tissue .. sounds about right then... just go easy on the bending and if it gets worse let the dr know..how has your hair been? its been a worry of mine about hair loss... ofcourse i have always shed like crazy so a bit hard to tell as i keep an eye on it..

I had my GB removed back in 03.. and i feel like my port is on the left and that is what hurts the most... i dont remember much pain with the GB as i was driving a few days after .. if the pain persists i would call the doctor .. how does the site look.. is it draining or anything?

Oh no! I hope you guys start feeling better. I was banded on the 24th and had the most horrible neck n shoulder pain from the gas,,, i did sip a couple sips of warm ginger ale..i burped walked and it seemed to go away by Saturday.. i also used a heating pad... maybe a peppermint or spearmint tea would help as that aids digestion? I hope you guys feel better!

Soo i am home now... just got settled in... the cat missed me... is all curled up on my shoulders and puurrin to his heart content. The stairs weren't that bad getting up so i think i am good here.. i am hurting a bit more today though but i think i might have slept on my stomach for a lil bit last night. Hope all is well.

I have trouble with a daily routine as well.. I love my Tae Bo , Zumba, and even the insanity workout when I feel I have the energy to do them.. I find it easier to just walk with some music.. it helps clear my head as well as gets me moving... I only do small walks right now as I was banded last wed, however.. it has me moving,, when your ready for something with weights get a small hand ones or even one of those kettle balls for the upper arms.. goodluck!

That's good for you... I have been doing the protein shakes as well.. I woke up Sat and said I needed something a bit more then clear haven't had an issue since.. I have been able to take showers and such I even went to the store today .. got on one of those motorized carts... HAHA ..I enjoyed getting out but it took some out of me... I am going home tomorrow so I will let you know how I do with those stairs. I am in pain still so yours might be a bit of both.. mine is more at the port site and everything still "settling" I guess you could call it. Anna, goodluck on the flooding.. stay safe!

I would deff call and ask them about the fever and tell them you would have liked a follow up call or something, My hospital recovery called a couple times the next day to make sure I was okay.

I am doing okay! doing little walks here and there.. I am still at my mom's and debating on if I want to go home yet, my apt has stairs to get to.. How are you doing?
