Ive been drinking decaf coffee since day 3 post op with artifical sweetners n only skim milk..

I know thats why I said its recommended alot of woman who have problems with mirena is because they havent had a child..a friend of mine who just listens to what ever her doc says he prescribed some med n didnt tell her that it could cause birth defects n she didnt research it before thating it n her son was born with a nuro tub defect..it was very sad..all I was trying to say doctors arent prefect they are human n its our body n we need to research stuff instead of just jumping on it..

Im sorry but you should tell your doctor to read the info pack that comes with mirena...it isnt recommended for woman who havent had at keast 1 child because it can come out..or it puncture your uterus. .this happenes because once you have a child everything opens a lil http://m.mirena-us.com/index.php

Yes 5...ughh..my hospital takes a lot of precaution. .which is good cayse they have never had a death or infection..n I also had 4 bags of potassium. .cause I was a lil low before surgery n low potassium can be a cause of a irregular heart beat which can cause a heart attack after surgery..

I holy have bruises where I got my 5 damn heparin shots..those things hurt like hell!!!

Im 5 days post op n one of my incisions is where my bra would sit..if anyone else had this how long did it take before you was able to wear a bra??

Congrats!!..im scared I maybe pregnant I was sleeved on 6/6..the 2days before we had sex n it just so happen to be my ovulation week from the 30th-4th..we used a condom but my husband told me when he took it off it was ripped..ughhh..I hope im not I really want to lose weight before having another baby

That is normal. .liquids go through you..thats why you have to make sure you get alot ..I get a lil hunger feeling but once I have a few sips of broth im done

Its not so much the manufacturer who didn't tell you about slipping and erosion it was your surgeon. .I was told that n did research n knew if I was gonna have surgery it was going to be once..the band in a lot of surgeons veiw is for people who only need to loss a low amount of weight..I had the sleeve..I would fight with you insurance n maybe point out that your 1st bariactric clinic didnt tell you about all the negatives of the band..

Im good able to sleep better..n walking alot..able to keep protien shakes down good,water is still a lil hard but ive been doing chicken broths and sugar free ice pops..

Its on my list for the full liquid phase because im also allowed scrambled eggs just have to chew very good
