Hi everyone! My story begins at te age of 5! I remember being overweight in first grade, therefore I have struggled most of my life with this weight. After raising 3 wonderful and supportive children and 24 years of marriage I think it's my time! I am super excited to get the process underway. I had my first appointment with the surgeon on March 4, I got a call today that I have been approved. Now just waiting for them to call back with a June date. The waiting has been the most difficult part so far for me. I am not a patient person. I am very lucky that I haven't had any mandated diets to follow or any bad results from all the testing. I am trying to learn at age 51 3/4 that it takes time. I am excited to start my new life! Healthier, happier and more with more patience!!
