Does anyone else have their port on the left side of their chest? I do but I only see people that have them on their stomach..... -
Why never?

I believe they stitch it to the muscle....but I'm not for certain. -
I had glue and it peeled off slowly...I mean it started to peel when it was suppose to. A little would come off but on the edge not where the actually cut was. I'm glad I had glue to be honest....

What is the best way to deal with swelling? I guess I'm retaining water but it's my face that's swollen :-/ maybe go on the liquid diet?

Usually Water will dissolve it...well the kind we used anyways -
It sucks that you have to wait 2 weeks to get a fill after they took too much out so now I don't feel restriction or satisfaction... I'm just very annoyed :-/

Lol you looked like a robot didn't you? When I use to score sleep studies we always let the person go without a CPAP to see how they did the whole night and then they came back for a CPAP study so we could titrate the pressures to get them right. You probably slept more than you thought and they can tell by your brain activity which is really interesting. Your eye movements have lots to do with it too and they can also tell you if you grind your teeth and if you have restless legs. I'm not sure why they measured your neck though. -

Oh I agree totally it's like getting sick off a certain food and not eating it again because you remember getting sick. After getting stuck on a food you don't even want to look at it anymore and it's nice! Lol! -
Got a unfill this past week and to much was pulled out :-/ not satisfied at all!

I have 4.4 ccs now but I had 4.6 and it was just too much because I was hurting when I tried to drink protein drinks. I don't ever want to be to tight but I don't want to be to where I can eat everything either lol. There's a fine line between it all. I'm going to see if I can get .1 put back in... The littlest amount makes the BIGGEST difference to me. I'm very sensitive to the fills and I don't know if everyone is like that but I know I sure am. I was so tight and I got .2 taken out and now I can eat to much and I know it's about self control but the simple fact is I'm not SATISFIED...that's the biggest issue.
-
Yeah I knew what you meant...like slider foods? Anything I would eat from Protein shake to chicken would hurt no matter how long I chewed or how small of a bite I took so I knew it was time for a unfill even though I am a newbie :-) I don't want to have problems with it so I'm trying to be as cautious as I can. I'm glad he did a unfill I know mine made a big difference :-) I can actually drink now without hurting.

It's hard not to compare yourself to other banded people that got banded around the time I did. I've lost 39.7 lbs since April and I understand that it's wonderful but it's hard not to think why haven't I lost 70 or 80 lbs in 6 months. Maybe it's different body types that lose faster or it's they are working out more a week and more intense. Lol I don't know I just had to let that out :-)

Well I'm pretty big starting out lol. I mean 393 at the beginning so I figured I would be losing like crazy but I'm kind of glad I'm losing slow because I'm scared of excess skin. I'm the type that wants instant gratification and this is something you have to have patience with and I'm trying to learn that :-)
-
Haha no kidding! I couldn't imagine 80 lbs in 3 months.

Is there anyone else out there in band land that is over 300 lbs and has tried couch to 5k? If you have then how did you do?
