Oh wow I hate how it's not the same for everyone so we just know! My pcp sent referral yesterday and they called today to schedule orientation and psych. Haven't met with weight loss surgeon yet. But I ask her if I could start loosing the 10% now because I had already started. I'm down 8lbs about 15 more to go!!!

I haven't met with a dr yet I have orientation on the 9th then psych one the 20th!! What did you have to do after psych apt??

@china it's ok to get off topic! We all Have a million things we are probably thinking about with the surgery. My husband worries about the same thing!

Yay!!! Yes I'd love the info. Dr Li actually sent my info by accident to Fresno but I had them forward it to Fremont! I now wish I did Fresno if it was that easy!! How was your recovery? So happy someone in my town. But yes send me Info for meetings and ill go To the next one

Update: yay today saw my psychiatrist and she ok'd me to get the referral to the surgery center! They should be calling me tomorrow to schedule my orientation!! I'm so happy

So today I saw the psychiatrist for my anxiety. Looks like I need to get that under control first. After 2-3 months then I will start psych evaluation and fry too move forward with lap band

Why did you make the decision to band instead of sleeve???

My concern is when I speak to people on the sleeve side there are like 80% of them that did the sleeve after they had major issues with the band . Today I'm leaning way more to the sleeve but I might change my mind
