HELP!!!!!!! Looking for a good shampoo and conditioner for my frizzy,dry, lack luster hair. I'm 4 & 1/2 months out and it was falling out bad but it's starting to slow down. I can't find anything to help with the dull,frizzy hair.

I had my gastric sleeve done on Feb 18th, 2013. I am 57 lbs down and I feel great. But, I am having one problem. My hair has always been thin and now it's even thinner. Everytime I comb or brush it was my hair I loss quite a bit daily. I'm eating and drinking my protein. I'm taking my vitamins and I've added 2000 mcg of Biotin daily. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Today is my 2 minth anniversary as well. I'm down 45 pounds and I'm actually working out at a gym 3 Times a week. I'm so glad I decided to have this surgery. I feel better than I have in years.

Ive been back to work for 3 days now. It does get harder but I'm not hungry at all. Ive noticed that I crave food esp when I smell it or someone starts talking about what are we going to eat for lunch. Be prepared. I carry a variety of things I can eat with me. Keep strong. My surgery was 3/18/13. I've lost 25lbs and have been stalled for a week now. Very frustrating but my cloths are getting bigger so I guess Im doing something right.

My surgery was on Monday the 18th. When do you start to feel normal. Im having severe nausea, water stool (I still have a lot of gas in me) Please help, Im feeling kind if defeated.

I had my surgery Monday the 18th. I had some side effects from the anesthesia, Ive never had before. Blurry vision, massive cotten mouth. Thank god hose have gotten better but I cant get over the nausea. Any suggestions???

Kitten, That is absolutely amazing. My surgery is Feb 18th. Since you are a year out, what do you eat now? With that much weightloss do you have a lot of excess skin?

Honestly, I'm telling everyone I know. Im excited. I think it helps me not to angry that I cant lose weight naturally.

How do you get 5 meal replacement shakes in a day??? I had a hard time getting 3 shakes in. Please give me some suggestions.

I am curious!!!!! How much weight did you lose the first week and the second week? Im 5 days in and Ive only lost 6 lbs. Is that right or am I doing something wrong?

I live in Louisville, ky. My bariatric surgeon makes sure that you sit down and talk to him. He also does a pre-op EGD so he knows what he is getting into before the surgery. You see him at the hospital then 1 week and 30 day visit, and every 3 months until your first year.

You have taken some great steps there by doing your pros and cons. Read some of the books out there they really help. Im the same weight and Bmi but im in my 40's. I would definitely do the surgery at your age. My surgery is Feb 18th. I know when I got done with the last office visit I was so overwelmed by the info. I was questioning it too but not anymore. Hang in there.
