Im still in the beginning stages but i had my first appt and my doc told me it was up to meet how fast things went if i did my part they would do there's....i have to get a egd and pulmonary and sleep study a psych eval and all of those are schedule i will ve done all appt by June 12th hoping to be sleeved by July...but at the first appt my surgeon talked about my option i originally was gonna get lap band and she convinced me that wasn't my best option then we discussed all of the test i needed before surgery and also let me know things that weren't required by my insurance like nutrition classes and she let me know that she wasn't gonna do a cardiac test bc it wasn't necessary.....it was about 30 to 45 and i was out the door all appts set and the nurses took care of everything all the referrals i may need etc i have an awesome team:) im very nervous and excited good luck with everything lady!!!!!!

Well that stinks BUT don't worry u can do this!!! I have faith in you girl!!!!!

I won't be eating with the family lol but thankfully i work a lot at night very seldom during the day and my job is really on the go so a shake will have to do i know ima hate it tho

I quit 2 weeks prior to.meeting my surgeon....haven't touched one since its been almost a.month....but what if its still in my system come surgery like if i have surg next month????

So today my nurse was suppose to call me with the rest of my appt which was for my pulmonary and sleep study and Im kinda bummed that she didn't call those are my last 2 appt before i get my date set and they send the info to my insurance for the approval....just blowing steam i guess Im really impatient lol just wanna get on with it and start my new life ugh but Im gonna be calm hope she calls tomorrow *fingerscrossed*

Just wondering what type of vitamins u guy take..Im taking a women's one a day and a skin hair and nail vitamin with 1000mg biotin...justt curious if im getting what i need???

All she said was liquids like broth jello water tea sugar free popsicles i hope to be able to have the protein shakes but yup that sounds about right.....gonna suck but WE CAN DO IT

Just a tip and note Im not sleeved yet.....i have been on a diet just prsparing myself for this full liquid 10 day pre op.....i drink 2 shakes and a small dinner...the shake is myoplex it has 42g of protein and its very filling I've been drinking the chocolate one and to me its not bad but i hear strawberry and vanilla are great the more protein the fuller u are!!! And this one is extremely high already mixed shake i hope i feel the same whenever i get surgery i hear ya taste buds might not like it after being sleeved.... hope everything works out!!!! Don't cheat u can do it.....i find it easier to by pass fast food restaurants everyday....to buy fruit over a snickers its hard at first but it gets easier and trust Im not perfect but when i get to the point of my 10 day pre op.....i won't cheat...and if Im really truly dead ill talk to my doc about maybe gettin to veggies or egg in:) YOU CAN DO IT

I just been sitting were for last hour reading posts all over the forum...and came to realize im not as confident as i thought i was..... For years I've struggled n relationships and going out finding the right outfit....but i always said if a man could except me for me then to heck with him and i just don't go out unless im forced....but i just think its crazy that weight plans such a big factor and it took til now for me to realize that im realize not as confident as i thought i was...i look at some of my pictures and say "goodness im huge" some pics look nice but some look horrid....just blowing steam and sucking it up i know thing will get better but sheesh it sucks....im 27 young no children no man....this is no way for me to live!!!! Can't wait to start over!

Mine is 10 days but i don't have my date yet my surgeon already told me its gonna be 10 tho
