I told my mom brother and my.ex boyfriend who is very much still my friend but NO COWORKERS or any of that i touched the subject once at work biggest mistake of my life all negative comments " ur gonna die" " u gonna look sick" "u look better big" smh so now i chose to keep the negative ish away THIS IS FOR ME

I had my pulmonary test today and im good...now i just have my psych eval and sleep study on the 22nd and 23rd and all my requirements will be met hoping to be sleeved in June......this process would prolly be a pain if i didn't have a great staff....who did i mention a majority had weight loss surgery of some sort....it was nice to talk to the nurse about her journey (good and bad) i. Between breaths lol

I haven't got the surgery yet bit this is my take on things....i understand a lot of ppl want to eat healthy and all that but realisticly even slim ppl have a soda a burger ice cream or whatever a drink a beer but they just do it in moderation....i have a lot of girlfriends who are very small they workout a lot and when we go out they don't eat salad with olive oil and all healthy stuff they eat normal meals that are portion and then eat right the rest of the week now granted they not eating bad everyday and i can't speak for all of then bc one or two eat what they they just very active but my point is nobody should judge u if u want a sip of soda then take the sip i learned thru my journey not to deprive myself of anything but to make better choices if i crave ice cream i try sugar free or half the fat and i eat the serving size.....i don't drink soda but sugar is my tough area and when i want it i eat it but i try to eat a healthy sweet TRY anyway this surgery it will be hard to do that plus get ur nutrition so of course nutrition should come first but if ur doctor allows and ur stomach can stand it i don't think a sip or three will send u bk to obesity....im just saying!!!

I haven't had the surgery yet but i have been dieting and my doc always says that to me but best of luck to you by the way the weight u lost so far is flipping awesome CCONGRATS!!!!

Me too....she's waiting for everything before she send it to the insurance company then if they approve it she'll set a date good luck to you!!!!!!

All my requirements will be done by may 23rd im sotoo hoping to get a June surgery date!!!!

Sheesh yes no wonder...Omg but that's good it'll be fixed after surgery do u have a date yet??

Well how did u fix the problem??? I didn't even realize i had it don't know what pain im looking for lol never paid it any attention

Oh yea they found a lil acid reflux and my surgeon just said take pepcid or a generic twice a day for 2 weeks

Oh ok thank you so much....... i do have asthma well at least i used to and still have an inhaler for time to time.....that sounds like a whole lot.... i don't like the feeling of not being able to breath

I had mine yesterday....they signed me in i sign some paper the anestesiologist made jokes asked me if i ate or smoked cigar or weed lol then took me to the or....i was quite tired so the nurse ok here comes the good stuff and that was it i woke up n recovery.....and when i got home i pretty such slept all day but it was like they said piece of cake:)

I was just in the hospital getting my egd and the lady was trying to get her lap band removed and get the sleeve.....i hope it work for him but i do see so many ppl wanting to change and sometimes insurance won't cover a second or they just having so many problems that they need to have the band removed but i wish him the best of luck!!!

I hope to have my surgery in June on.my bday would be awesome 6/19 would be great

So im just waking up from my egd and there is a lady next to.me getting the same thing for pre op she has lap band and regrets it and really wants the sleeve makes me thankful for my doctor talking me out of lap band i imo there are risks with everything but this lady is having major issues and her insurance may not approve the sleeve bc she's already had lap band im sad for her bc she desperately wants to change it!!

I had my first nut class today...and it was great advice a great class a lot of things i didn't know now i do:) have my appt for my egd tomorrow morning.....so excited that im starting the process by starting i mean fulfilling all the requirements...i can't wait till i have my date but for now im practicing buying the right foods and eating healthier the things that i thought were healthy are truly not....smh it amazed me...but now i know and im ready to start exploring

Everyone look so good!!! I love seeing before and after pics it keeps me so motivated and excited!!! Even before surgery im trying to eat better and im in the gym heavy....very determined to lose the weight and keep it off

Asking if they have a plus size section and always being turned down is the worst for me....

I would love to box...i always tthink about it but i don't have the stamina right now..and running right now if i walk up the steps to fast i almost go into cardiac arrest lol smh

And she told me i have to do a 10 day liquid diet before surgery but its all good
