I am 4 years post op from LapBand surgery and am currently in the process of getting a revision to gastric sleeve. I am fearful however about stretching my stomach back out. I see some people on my 600lb life and YouTube who had the sleeve and then streched there stomach back out. How do I make sure that I dont do that? I simply cannot fail this time around. Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to get back on track but honestly there is nothing that I can eat that I want to eat. Everything makes me sick at the thought of it. That's why I did what I did. I choose food I knew I could chew really well so it didn't hurt. I counted to 30 before I swallowed. I'm just eating applesauce and drinking Water at the moment. I go to the nutritionist Tuesday....hopefully she will help me out. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

I'm 10 days post op and yesterday for the 4th I ate food. Baked chicken Mac and cheese and asparagus....not a lot of each but enough that I got full. I feel terrible and afraid that I hurt my stomach from eating real food to soon. I chewed well but how do I know if I hurt myself? I'm afraid disappointed and ashamed. So today is officially post op day 7. One week in and yesterday I had a complete melt down. Crying and wondering why I did this to myself. I'm on the liquid/full diet. I can have creamed soup, yogurt, protein shakes, broth, and water to sum it up. The problem is everything is upsetting my stomach. I can do jello and the shakes but that's about it. I asked my nutritionist if I can do applesauce and puréed sweet potatoes but she's not responding quick enough. I don't want to hurt my band but I need to know if these two things are ok. They have been the only thing I can get down without upsetting my stomach. I also wanted to know if anybody has any other food ideas for this stage. I know things will get better over time but this first seven days specifically the last four have been tough. I'm very hungry and not even reaching 600 calories a day. I feel week and dizzy at times and getting headaches. Please someone offer me some advice. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Ok I will try that. Are you laying on ur side at all? I can't help but to feel like I'm messing something up when trying to lean a bit on my side. I'm just so tired of being on my back. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Just got home from the hospital and I'm exhauseted. Have not walked around too much though. The weight of my belly kills with these incisions. Any tips for the walk would be great.

Idk what I would do if I couldn't eat food. More power to you. I can have 2 small meals and 3 shakes a day. I can even have as many cucumbers and mushrooms as I want. No more complaining for me...lol Today is day 3 and I'm feeling 10 times better this morning...I think my mind is in a better place. Everybody's words have really helped me out letting me know I can do this.....and what do u know...I'm doing it. We got this!!!!! Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

It's day 2 of this pre op diet and I'm ready to slit my wrist. I semi cheated yesterday just from the sheer pain of hunger. I'm allowed 3 oz of meat but as I was putting up the food I cooked I took a big bite of my baked chicken. I'm allowed a half cup of veggies....I ate a cup. I don't know if its just in my head or not but I'm feeling light headed. June 25th can't come soon enough. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

So glad to hear this. Started my pro op diet today. I still get to eat some food but the hard part is thinking about the next thing I'm going to eat. The anticipation is making me constantly think about the fact that I'm hungry or making me think I'm hungry when I'm not. I'm waiting it out though. So far so good.
