Hi...Just wanted to say thanks for starting this group. Tomorrow I enter week 3 of my new life as a bandster. Would love to be able to stay in communication with those who go to True Results Houston.

As a single parent, I told both of my daughters, ages 13 and 20. My 20 year old is away in college but is also my next of kin, so I told her. I explained to my 13 year old what I was doing and why. She is looking forward to when I dont have to be on medications and am healthier and happier. She is a willing participant and supportive to this journey. It was important to me that she understood the why more than the what. But the bottomline is you know what your kids can or cannot handle.

OMG!!! This is exactly how I have been feeling!!! I started to feel really bad and frustrated because I cant get all the liquids into my system. Thanks for posting this. I was banned on 4/11 as well. Supposed to start thicker liquid tomorrow but I dont think I can.

Just hitting day 7 of post op and starting the feel better. This forum is a tremendous help with all of the encouragement and just knowing you are not alone in this wonderful journey.

I was banned on April 11th and have been feeling the same way - not wanting to drink anything... Glad to know that it will subside and the name of the game is to sip.

Feeling all alone on this journey right about now... could really use a mentor or buddy...

Still very sore and dealing with the gas. looking forward to feeling better.

Thanks all for the encouragement. Do you use the strips or the chewables?
