I had my surgery he put mesh over my port so it hopefully won't happen again its been 2weeks now still havin a lot of pain hopefully ill be back to normal soon

I went in for a fill Thursday may I add it had to be approved before I could go original apt was canceled because they said insurance didn't want to pay for my fill because how much weigh I've lost....anyways I've been having pain in my port area been told the doctor but he said all was fine well my doctor sticks the needle in and ohhh your port flipped so he grabs it with one hand an flips it with the other now I'm really sore. So I'm waiting for them to call me with my surgery date. Really not too worried about it but I do have some concerns. So I'm wondering if anyone can give me info on this what should I expect. I'd like to hear from someone who has been through it as well.

I went to the er on mothers day for an un fill too. I had got my last fill and was ok than I got sick with strep throat and the drainage really got to irritating my band I had heartburn almost constantly couldn't eat or drink at all so the dr wanted to drain it completely im at 7.2 I just couldn't do it I couldn't let them start me all over so he took 1 and a half out instantly was better. When he did that he also pulled air out of my band! I couldn't believe it some how air got in it through fills or when his nurse had to do an un fill I had to get in the past.

I"ve been through the same thing and am goin through it now. In the a.m. I'm lucky to get anything down sometimes it's hard to get Fluid down. I'm having a lot of heartburn also. I am having a lot of drainage due to allergies so that causes a problem with pain and pressure feeling full. So I'm taking Benadryl to help dry it up. I talked to the nurse today cause I felt I may be too full with my last fill. She said it sounds like the drainage is the problem if I was too tight I would be throwing up every time I eat or drink. Maybe you have allergies but it really sounds exactly like the same problems I have.

so I went to the dr he told me he would like me 20lbs from my goal weight than I can see the surgeon also let me know that I should go to my primary every time I have any rawness or sores or anything because of the extra skin it will help as far as getting insurance to pay for the procedure. well im 38lbs from my goal weight and I have decided that im gonna just wait till I hit my goal weight than go see the surgeon.

I drink muscle milk (I prefer the strawberry). but that has 20 gs of Protein in each 1 depending on size you get 20 is from the smallest bottle. and it has 170 calories in it so that's jus a suggestion for you. I know if you are working out and burning all those calories off you can get stuck as far as weight coming off I had that problem. I workout so much that I was burning all my calories I was getting in. But 31lbs that's awesome! you should also take measurements sometimes you can stop loosin an it can be upsetting but if you check those measurements the inches are melting off I had lapband surgery not the sleeve my mom had the sleeve done a month ago and we have found out its very similar she can actually eat more than me.
