I do really well with lettuce. Meats and breads are what I have trouble with.

I can't keep liquids down, so I think I'm gonna call the Dr. Thanks, Missy!

Good luck to both of you! It's great that you'll have each other for support!

My Dr. uses a "freezy spray" to numb the area first. No pain!

You may want to consider the band with plication. Plication is when they fold your stomach in half and stitch it. It is supposed to be similar to the sleeve without actually cutting you.

My entire process was 6 months. Just don't be in too much of a hurry...it takes longer than you'd think. -

I am struggling with the same things! I haven't quite hit the green zone (hopefully after next fill in May) but late afternoon/ early evening I just want to eat! I started trying to drink more fluids when I feel hungry and sometimes it helps. I have also been on a plateau for 2 1/2 months now. I keeping gaining and losing the same 3 lbs over and over. I started really tracking what I'm eating on an app on my phone and I think I may have been taking in more calories than I thought before. I am still feeling discouraged, but also have a glimmer of hope again that my tracking will help me push past this plateau. Good luck to you! Keep up the good work with your fitness! -

Hi everyone! I'm new here and was hoping to get some thoughts on a few things. I got the band with plication on 12/6/12. So far I have lost 31 pounds, but most of that was liquid diet before the surgery and right after surgery. Basically I have been losing and regaining the same 3 pounds over and over for the past 2 months. I am eating right...1200-1400 calories per day and walking for 30 minutes everyday. I feel like I have been trying really hard and am not getting results which is really frustrating me. I just got a pretty big fill last week, so I'm hoping that will help...but I'm just wondering if this is normal? I am so discouraged!

The PA gave me my fill last week. She said that since I had very little fluid in my band she was surprised that I hadn't gained weight. I'm really hoping the whopping fill she gave me will help! I lost 3 pounds on liquids right after the fill but as soon as I started eating again I gained 2 back. Someday it has to budge!
