It's been 3 months, going into 4... I've had 3 fill ins, still trying to get into my green zone. I loose, but not as much as I hoped for. I think I need to work out more. Starting weight at 257 current weight 219. Here's some Pixs: Me before surgery Two weeks after surgery I think about a month? 2 months ago Last month, shirt fit me big I got my old size but it didn't fit well, sadly I wore it once, and not again This is me now, with a shirt that marinated in my closet for two years. It fits and loose now.... Well everyone, I can really only count with the honesty that you lovely people can give me. It least I know you will be honest. I can handle it!

Hahaha when did you get banded? I was freaking out bc maybe Im just delusional, or I don't see it... But it almost feels unreal to me lol and you look amazing!

Hi hunny! I got a lot of pain to, my surgery was may 1st, and I explain to my doctor that I was in a lot of pain, some days worst then others, and some days it would throb or feel extra warm, she told me not to worry because in order for it to heal its gonna take 6 months to year after surgery was done. Now if you have it more then a year call your doctor ASAP, see what's going on.

Well my surgery was on May 1st, I went from 257- 224. I am still having trouble trying to get my protein in, and trying hard to loose and it's getting difficult. I did not get a fill in last month and felt I could have eaten everything, I got one this morning, I am up to 3.6cc; I am slowly but surely getting there. My diabetes is under control now, went from 4 pills a day to 1. All and all, I'm happy!

I'm aiming for 800 but most of the time I'm having issues, I get hungry quick. Can someone who had lost give me a sample meal plan? Please and thanks do much

I need a gym buddy. Who better then to ask then my awesome lap band buddies lol! Let me know! It would be nice to know a few who has go w thru this as well in my area.

I just got may 1st- one month today! And I haven't worked out yet I finally can start this week doing my Zumba at Lucille Roberts so I'm so excited! Question now is how am I going to get in the grove again lol. 97 PDs?? Show me te way!!! Lol

24 pounds down- thank u god for letting me live out a dream that I been wanting since I was young - just to be normal.

I did it; but I think I'm traumatized lol

I was told 6 weeks after surgery I got yelled at bc i wanted to do Zumba 4 weeks post op. I got one more week left and back to Zumba I go!

I got it two weeks late- normal due to the anesthesia

Lost 4pds which she said was good! 2.6 was put in. I'm so excited! to bad I'm on fluids right now only. I was excited I was going to be able to eat solids today lol- it's ok ill be able to in a couple of days- not like I really eat anyways yay!!!

Yes I am- but I do eat every hr- even if its a bite of chicken salad I eat bc I get hungry- so she wants me to b able to hold out my hunger for. Longer period of time that's why she gave me the fill. I eat very little and get filled easily but the hunger comes back

I have been overweight all my life it took a lot of me to get up and do this. I just turned 26. I don't feel all that restricted now. I can eat but I do get full easily. I wish I didn't tell anyone I was doing this. No one really understand the process of this except for you guys who have undergone this surgery. I live in 2 family house at my fathers, I rent out the bottom half of his house to help him out with bills with my boyfriend. Well I went upstairs my dad and brothers have noticed a difference but today idk what got into my dad- but my middle brother since kids has always called me tubby- he mentions to my dad- that he will no longer be able to call me that bc I'm losing weight- my dad who has mentioned before to me that he sees me losing the weight states "I don't see it she isn't losing anything" finds it necessary to take out the scale for me to weight myself. I got so upset and ran to my room- I told him to get out of my face and I been crying ever since. I don't want to fail at this. Im petrify that I did all of this for nothing. I barely eat. I've gone to restaurants just to pack my food to go so my bf can eat it when I get home. He then came downstairs to apologize just to tell me that he sees it but its not going fast enough. Just bc someone who did gastric lost it within months. Maybe I should have had my stomach ripped off- I would have been able to see a difference by now. I'm sorry all- I needed to vent :/ This is me now; Then- sucking in my stomach too lol
