Hey there Aba. My class was today and packed with info!! Overwhelming but I know I can handle this. I was there with two other women - one one the same day as me & same surgeon. Well everyone I have a date - well once I call back to let them know which date I picked tomorrow. JUNE 5!! They called today to try and said NEXT WED!!! I was like uhhh, uhhh, uhhhh. SPEECHLESS!! LOL. But I don't want to have to go back to work afterward so I wanted it so that I could just take off the last two weeks of the school year and have all summer to adjust to the newness of my coming lifestyle. Oh I thought it was a Costco brand. I will definitely look for it now. I hope to get a surgery date this week then it's all about waiting to hear from insurance. I'm calling my surgeons office Wednesday. All I have are my labs to be done before they submit to insurance; and its a TON of labs!! How is it with puréed foods? Ok Jeanette I have finished my stalking of ur YouTube videos and Instagram! Lol. I'm home sick today so I had nothing but time on my hands. Ur doing so awesomely!! I liked ur videos. They seem very real and down to earth. I hope to have my surgery next month. So the information u share will def be helpful. Idk y but it makes a different to me to be able to talk to and share with people that r close by even if our interaction is just on this forum. I haven't been doing the greatest with starting things I will have to do after surgery - like chewing like 25 times or not drinking with my meals or getting Water in. I know they say it will help to get u adjusted afterward. I'm gonna keep working towards it though. Again congrats on doing so well and ur determination! I personally feel they weren't willing to do the work necessary to handle my situation of having two insurances. My primary doesn't cover RNY but my second does and they just gave me this blanket, generic statement of "if ur primary ins doesn't cover it then ur second won't". And that's not true. The attitudes came after I got my secondary insurance person to call them and clarify but they stood firm on their statement which was INSANE to me when u have someone directly from the ins company telling u otherwise. But like I said God knows best and He directed me away from them and to the place He wanted me to be. I would like to lose anywhere from 110 to 130 pounds. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
