    Dinner And Drinks ?

    Every once in a while, my husband and I get a evening to ourselves to do dinner. When we do, I usually get some sort of drink- like a yummy margarita (don't judge, it's my treat!) and I do still eat a tiny bit. I know you aren't supposed to drink 30 before and 30 after but will it hurt if I do this like once maybe twice a month?

    In all honesty, I've done it "my way" a few times so far but I thought I'd ask anyway. I just didn't want to compromise the hard work I've already put into this but I'd say, I'm understanding what works for me. No issues whatsoever and I'm down 76 lbs in 7 months. No complaints! Good luck to you as well!!

    I'm sure I will get lot of opinions. Ultimately, just seeing how everyone handles times like this. I don't do carbonation- I haven't since pre-op and am too nervous to start up again. I'm not a wine drinker but can't imagine it being different than drinking any alcohol, really. Thanks for your response! Makes sense. (I'm 7 months post-op)

    You know what makes the difference.... A good pair of jeans! For the first time, I went and spend money on two pairs of jeans and LOVE them!!! Do you have a Maurice's in your area? If so, go try on their silver jeans! :-)

    You have a lot of good advice here and I strongly agree with previous posts- your caloric intake is too low. Try to up it and eat less processed foods... Good luck!

    What's the big deal, it's ONLY 5 pounds...

    First off, you hit the nail on the head with your different points. It doesn't matter if we are 250 lbs or 150 lbs, we all have goals and I will actually believe that 5 pounds is much harder to lose at 150 than at 250! Good luck to you and your last 5 lbs, I'm sure you can get it done before your surgery in October! I have this picture saved on my phone and thought I'd share!

    No Fills??

    You sound like you are doing well right now, but for me hunger came back around week 3-4 post-op. I was very satisfied before that. Please don't be afraid to get fills. I, too, had 4ccs at the time of surgery and will be going for my 5th fill next week. I currently have 6.3ccs. So, you can ask them to do a little at a time. Oh, and I have NOT gotten stuck and still haven't come across a food I couldn't tolerate.
