Thanks everyone! I've done a ton f research and read and read on this forum to better prepare myself. I'm super hopeful that I will succeed! :-)

Sooooo, here I am only 8 days from surgery and I have to see a Hematologist! On my original appointment with True Results, it was elevated. (This was the only thing negative about my History and Physical) So, they now require clearance from my regular doc. Go there last week and it was less, but still elevated. Went again this week to repeat and it stayed the same at 13. Now, tomorrow, I go to this Hematologist. PLEASE say a prayer for me that 1. It's nothing to worth about. & 2. My surgery date doesn't get postponed! TIA!!

I told my immediate family and a couple close friends- they are my support and they keep me focused when I THINK I want to eat something thats not the best choice. (I'm pre-op and will be banded on Monday!)

After numerous blood tests and dr visits, all is well. One week of an antibiotic and it's off to surgery I go... ONLY one week from today!! Next Monday can't get here fast enough! Whoop!

Here is the latest: I went to the Hematologist today. The four CBCs have shown my WBC as 14.6, 13, 13.1, and now today back up to almost 14. So, they did a urine test- came back normal. They took 6 vials of blood and a chest X-ray. I've had to reschedule my lap band procedure and will get results of all the blood tests on the 23rd. Worried but hopeful. Until then, I will continue the pre-op diet and pray that everything is good to go come the 23rd. Thanks again for the responses...

Thank you all for your support! I have an appointment this afternoon and will update when I know more. I have complete faith that all will be a-ok!

So what does it say for "Week 1"? Then, for "Week 2"? Lastly, "Week 3" I got my post-op instructions and am on liquids for one whole week starting the day after surgery. Id say stick to the strict instructions, they are given for a reason!

I'm having lapband done at TR Houston with Dr Reilly on April 18th! For those that had him, Does he do your first fill during the procedure? Curious!

Will do! When you met with him at your pre-op appt, did you happen to ask if he fills the band during surgery? I'm curious! My pre-op appt is on Monday!
