After a lifetime struggle of trying to diet and being overweight... I was banded on April 9, 2013.
Fast forward... to 2016. Tragedy... I had an appendectomy and discovered that I had appendix cancer. In the interim, the Lap Band was a FAILURE. Constantly throwing up and not getting the nutrition I needed. Removed 2/28/17.
Got the best at Stanford to revise me after 6 months of "proving" myself. June 2017; revised to the sleeve. Went from 180+ pounds to 142. Now back at 151. Hating it! Now working on refocusing myself to get back to my goal of 135 pounds.
I can do it!
