Marie. Knee was better today. I bought the drugs and a friend told me about coral Calcium. He says it does wonders...so when I see my Dr. This weekend I am going to ask him what I shoud take I am so glad that I get to see Dr. R this weekend I have so many questions. Hope You feel better. The funny thing is my husband has been limping and saying his knee hurts also. Maybe it's in the air. I hope you feel better.

Haven't even thought of begals since the banding... to worried about getting them down.

When I did atkins I remember the 21 days it took not to crave the sugar. (BTW) It never really happend. I was ready to jump someone for a begal which I found out s probalby that my body wanted sugar. I love sweet things but I have never really been a depressed person. I am an extreem extrovert however. Hummm maybe this book is for me?:cry

My problem is that I stand all day long on it because of teaching. Then I coach at the University and workout... Well the working out is out for now. I don't belong to a gym or I would def do the water arobics...beside sounding funm it's so damn hot out that I would do anything to get out of the heat. It sounds very normal...but stick to the rules liquids only... your stomic has to heal. You don't want to cause any slippage. Good Luck!

My friend had the RNY along with a co worker and she lost and her co worker ate through her procedure. She came home from the hospital and had a grill cheese sandwich. She said it was the most painful thing in her life. Anyhoo I say all this to say that people don't know a lot about the band yet and so they don't trust it. They have seen a lot of pub about the other one and not nearly enough on how much damage it actualy does. When I mention that I had weight loss surgery they are quick to ask if I had my stomic stappled or had the rny. So there is not a lot of knowlege out there about the band. But as an aside it sounds as if her friend knew the difference and choose the more dangerous procedure... Just my 2 cents

Thanks Marie I will try that... Where did you get it GNC? I rap and Ice my knee at night... but the only thing that I find that works well is my anti inflams...which I have now put down. But I am up to try anything!

Thanks everyone! I will go and get the Glucosimine. I do the topical treatments. It's not that I am in pain. It is indeed uncomphy... and the knee tends to buckle but I am lucky there is only an occasional buckle. On the bright side it does get me out of house work with my husband... He always tries a little harder when the knee looks like this. But I have never been one to sit for long. I have a call in the aptment line and My Sports Dr. is pretty good at getting back to me. I havent told her about the opperation yet so I am going to look up all I can find so that she can give me good advice. Thanks again eveyone... Hobble ,Hobble, hobble....:think

I haven't had a fill yet and Jamie (My Band) cames and goes as she pleases. The ohter night nothing...Last nigh two bites and I was done. I wonder if has something to do with our bodies retention of water???

I have actually heard of the lady from Dr. Rodriguez's associate patti about bashing Dr. R. I choose to leave it at a misunderstanding. I think in the competative world we are dealing with, there are always going to be seedy people. But to know him is to love him I say!

Last night Jamie Summers (that's what I named my band)and I went out to a fabulous dinner as a local resturant named Sevilla. I love their spanish cuizine(spelling)I followed the "rules" and stopped drinking well before the "Tapas" came Which were delicious. We had calamari. But Jamie stood me up. She was bothering me all day I could barely eat and then... Nothing. I had the bread... down without a problem. I ordered the seafood pasta and finished every bite. I didn't even notice Jamie was missing in action until my campanion said, "Wow you can still eat that much and loose so much weight?" I looked down and it was gone, my whole meal. Yes, I was talking and eating and laughing, my girl is extreemly funny. But, I was so mad a Jamie! This morning I figure since last night it was obviously time for a fill I would be able to get my breakfast down without incidence. Wrong! I had to drink my ensure. I know I have mentioned this before... Jamie is a peticular girl I know, but damit I was looking forward to my cereal. Sometimes I just want to cus the Bi--ch out! I wish she would make up her Damn mind!

Jamie has to learn that I'll send her ass back to ohji if she trips again...LOL:D
