Chantal I can only imagine what you are going through. It is so hard to make decisions that will not only affect us but our children. You say to yourself, "Do I want my children growing up without a father?" and then ask yourself if that isn't already the case. I always think back to the song that says, "I can do bad all by myself" We are here for you. For encouragment and support. I will also pray for you. That God will move your life in a direction that is good for you and your family. BTW I don't think your husband is cheating on you yet... Women who cheat wouldn't tell you what a great weekend they had with your husband. I think he wants to though. Why else would he lie.

Hi Vicky, I see that you have a lot of health concerns... I am sorry about that. I will tell you a little about my journey so that you can see that you are not alone. My health was better than yours but my journey was simular. I started out by injuring my knee. I fell really hard and I weighed around 280 at the time. I rehabed it and felt pretty good until I fell again. This time my doc said the only way to truly get it back into shape was to loose at least a hundred lbs. I ran into a woman and knew a couple of friends who had the other surgery and I now started to contemplate it. Then I found out about the band...I knew this was the way for me. I made an apt with my Dr. (HMO) and he said I qualified for the gastric bypass that would have cost me my co pay of $5.00. But now I had already reasearched the difference and I knew that I wanted the band because I did not want the complicatons that go with the bypass. They told me the results were not proven and I had to either have the bypass or self pay. So I did a little more research and discovered a Dr who I would go to. Dr. Rodriguez in Monterey , MX. It cost me around 10,000 but I will never regret it. I hope you are able to have it done here, because while I am glad for my choice my folow ups are not on a regular basis. If you don't need a lot of support or you can find a l;ocal follow up Doc. I would do it.... I hope this helps!:mad:

Leatha Thanks for asking... I have been great. It is just my busy time of year right now. School is about to track off and I have parent teacher confrences and I am gearing back up to deal with my track team...(outa breath) and today I had a bridal shower for one of my best friends. So sorry if I am sparatic for the next couple of weeks. Thinks are great though. I am a teenager again...I can wear 18's Yea!

I had my fill a couple of weeks ago and I thought I felt it. Dr. Rodriguez said I was swollen so he put in 2cc instead of the 4 he planned. Boy am I glad that he did. Today I was out to lunch with my co workers at Wendy's and I ordered the kid's meal. cheese burger and manderine oranges (I love that they do that now instead of fries you have a choice) and I have forced myself to eat slowly (finally) but I could not get it down. Two bites and I was through. I waited and waited and I knew if I took another bite up it would come. But I wasn't hungry anyway so I stopped. Later in the day I went out to eat with my husband and I was still full. I left most of my dinner (he ate it for me) but then after working out I went to Cosco because I had this overwhelming thirst. I bought 2 flats of propel and could hardly wait until bought them and then downed one right in the store. Thank goodness I had on my workout gear... so people could tell why I was thirsty but I think I looked a little nuts anyways. By the time I drove home I had drank at least three bottles. ( I know I will be up all night tonight peeing) Not hungry but thirsty... Has anyone experienced this? Maybe it's the heat...It was a scorcher here in the Inland empire today.

My purse would be so heavy. My husband already thinks I carry the sink in my purse. But your right I now keep a flat of propel in my car. It is even good warm.

Really paula? I am glad to see that I am not alone. It is soooooo hard not to drink and eat together or to wait the appropriate amount. I was in my classroom and I had eaten somthing small like a muffin and later I drank not even a good gulp of my water and pb all over the floor. My students thought it was hilarious because by coencidence I had just read the story earlier that week of My Little sister ate one Hare. A story about throwing up heathy things!

Thanks Marie! ((hugs)) Bettie the knee is feeling better but I am annoyed with Kasier. I have asked for an apt. it seems like ages ago and I think because my knee guru left:( no one seems to have time. I have been taking the Glucosimine and Calcium, and now the swelling is managable. So I am not complaning:cool:
