I was banded on the 29th..when he went in he found that I had a hernia so he fixed it...That repair is the only thing that has me in pain. Was sent home with a Morphine ball attached to me...I have a follow up on the 13th...

Excited!!! Went to doctors Friday to go over everything for my surgery on the 29th and I am down 24 pounds already!!!! So ready for this journey!!

What did you eat after your 1st week of surgery? Is it still liquids?

I was told last night in my support group that the night after my surgery I would be able to eat anything mush such as mashed potatoes...mac and cheese..ect...but I see all of you posting still liquids...?????

Today was 1st day of liquids... My blood sugar is low..I had to pop a few crackers in my mouth tonight ...I will need to call the doctor in the morning to see what meds I need to cut back on..has anyone had this problem?

Day 6 and still going strong...it was hard watching my kids eat a juicy hamburger while I drank my shake....I am not sure how I am surviving on 300 calories a day but I am!

I was strong today!!! I had to smell my kids taco salads in the car today!!! I kept telling myself....mmmmmm...this water is so yummy

I have type 2...Went to doctors, she took me off some of my meds...Doing better...just having headaches and very tired all the time......

Started my liquids 3 days ago. My surgery date is the 29th!! I only get 3 shakes a day and water..That is it!!! The headaches are killing me....but I WILL DO IT!!!!!!!!! -
Way to go!!!! I can't wait to hit the under 200 mark!!!
