Hey girls how are things goingt his weekend with you all? I am stuck in the house working on this paper and I am abuot to scream. lol I ask my self everyday " Cassandra montes why in the world did you enroll to get a doctorial degree? LOL" Good news is that my professor said it is no reason why I should not be done by the end of the year so I am on a mission. I am also trying to get things caught up because when I have my surgery I am not going to be trying to read a book, or nothing lol Chas girl your face looking a little different now. Congratulations!!! Glad to see everything went well. Dr Hollis I will see for my follow up care. I'm going to have surgery done in Dallas by his partner. Do you feel hungry?

I am not sure if I said but the doctors office called me last night. I have my surgery date set now for June 14th. I go in to see him on June 13th. I will be going to Dallas that Thursday have my office visit spend the night at a hotel then have surgery next day. I will do all my follow up care here in Houston with Dr. Hollis @ True Results.

I am looking forward to all of that. I want to go hiking, bike riding, rock climbing (inside of course) lol One thing that I always wanted to do was jog. Im getting old and I need to get my heart strong lol

I say we all get a bike and hit up some trails a few times a month. How long after surgery before we can exercise? I think I read that walking can be done immediately....?

OK , I have my EDG consulation set up for the first of May. One thing I hate about that is having that sore throat afterwards. Ughhh!

I am going to try the Protein drink this coming week. Thanks for the tips. I really appreciate it. I was told if I had not lost weight when its time for the surgery they will cancel. I understand that they want to shrink the liver to get to the stomach better that that's a little bit of pressure to me. They didn't ask you to bring in a two week journal or questioned it before the surgery?

So you like the EAS protein drinks? That was my next question. I have tried many in the pass and they were just not my cup of tea. lol Thanks for the info on the foods. I have wrote it down. I am praying that I do good on the 2 week preop diet. As long as I am at work I will do good. I been doing a lot better at home as well. I just have to make sure I have meal replacments here during dinner time. Did you do the pre op diet? If so, does it matter if you have your small meal for lunch or dinner? I was thinking about doing my small meal for lunch.

I got my flanks done and.its crazy because no fat ever goes.back to that same spot. I guess some can over do it but mine's is still flat after 4 years.

No not celebrating. I am preparing for the STAAR testing next week and I am trying to relax and get my head together. I iwll Celebrate after testing lol
