Yep...they fixed the hernia. I was told clear liquids but cream water down soup is ok?

I'm only 3 days in and trying to be on clear liquids and jello and my stomach growls in hunger and I'm nauseous what should I do. Dr gave me liquid pain med because hernia is painful and very swollen and I have only been able to sleep like 3 hours at a time any advice for the hunger pains I haven't even taken my metformin or high blood pressure meds. Thx
