Found out two weeks ago that the insurance denied it saying that it was a cosmetic procedure and I didn't fall in the guidelines despite the fact my BMI was 39.8 and I have asthma. I have appealed it and my nurse advocate has been trying to get in touch with the medical director at the insurance. We are still waiting.....
