Gosh thank you!!! What an ego boost!!! Yes, I was banded 3/14...and I was totally sucking it in!!!

Where my port is, it is clearly protruding outside of my stomach like a lump...anyone else?

My goal weight would be about 130-135

Yes....3/14/13...I was 187 when I was banded...I am down to 160 as of today! But, I am working really really really hard. I go to a trainer 2 times a week, try to do cardio for an hour 3 times a week, and try my best to eat healthy...I have cut back on wine, my favorite...and just try to stay away from junk. My BMI was 31 when I got banded....not very high I know...I did it with my mom and we went to Mexico. I am very happy that I did it....despite the hurdles along the way...my mom has also lost 20 pounds :-)

I just had an episode I forget what u call it those 2 letters....where u gag and puke up saliva and stuff :-(

Wow I am in horrendous pain. Whenever I eat too much it feels like someone is taking a butcher knife in my left shoulder blade and just twisting it...what do I do to make it stop?!

But why the pain in my shoulder I don't understand??? Is it okay to take Advil?

Immediately after eating a tablespoon of hummus i felt the urge to vomit but didn't then I burped a few times what does that mean?

All I can think about is a filet Oscar. Filet mignon topped w crabmeat over a nice hollandaise sauce......ugh

I'm too afraid to post my picture in fear that I will be recognized by someone I know...not sure how I feel about that.

I don't know any recipes but I would kill for some cottage cheese and tomatoes right now!!!!

I also got a juicer. I drink like 4oz of it every few hours during the day and it really fills me up!!!

I will def need the Knorrs sauce!!

It's been very tough I must say...not so bad durning the day but it hits me hard around 5pm. I bought Soup tonight, I love butternut squash soup but it's so hard to only eat 4oz....I know I had like 8 and then I need to go lay down cause I'm in pain...the good news is I've lost about 12 pounds since my surgery 3/14. I Really need to work on slowing it down... I'm so excited to have filet Oscar! April 2nd I will be able to do it!!!!

Lol 2muchfun! That's what I thought too at first! Apparently the ports are the exact same that are used on patients receiving chemo. We are going to get the first full in MX and the dr is going to show my mom how to do it...

I was banded on the 14th. Did 4 days of Clear Liquids. I'm on day 3 of any liquid. This is so incredibly hard. My kids are asking for cheese puffs and my mid rationalizes that the puffs melt in your mouth. What do I do but just ate a few handfuls melted in my mouth and chews up to a liquid consistency. I am SO hungry. How do I get through this?

My mom is an oncologist, so she can do my fills..I think I will just have her do mine

Well my dr. Is in Mexico, lol so I have no contact with him...however, I did find an email with a post op diet...it mentions 2-4oz in a sitting...that seems so small to me...I should have been better prepared for the amounts of food I can eat. Ugh still feeling bad, and yes, I ate the entire can!
