Not much to say yet! I have gained over 100 lbs in the last 3 years. I had some thyroid issues that are now resolved with medication. I now have high BP, GERD, high cholesterol, and skin issues at 35 y.o. I have done Atkins, Weight Watchers, Nutra System and multiple other diets. I always lose, but never long term. My insurance will pay, but not before requiring me to jump through hoops for 6 months. Which in a way is a good thing because i have already given up carbonated drinks for the most part during this time and the dieticain that has been following me has really made me realize I have portion control problems in a big way. I have been cleared by the pulmonologist, cardiologist, psychologist, and PCP. I have satisfied 4 of 6 monthly dietician visits. Next month I have a EGD and then I should be finished in May and ready to submit to insurance. I pray surgery will be okayed for June or July.
