I am sure you will do wonderful we are all here for support because even though or family loves us dearly they will never know what we are going through like these people that have had the same thing done. I was blessed to stumble upon this sight. I am not banded yet but will be next week if everything goes as planned . so welcome and enjoy the new journey an life changes

This story reminded me of when I took my daughter to eat the other day after my preop appt. I love love cheesecake awe it's the best ever !!!! An so I took her to the Cheesecake Factory to eat an they have regular food along with the most amazing cheesecakes in every kind under the moon. After eating out lunch she ordered an Oreo Chocolate fudge cheesecake. They brought it out it was big enough for us both so they also brought out 2 forks I sat thru this drooling but OVERCOmE the temptation an I was so excited when we left that I didn't touch the high calorie dessert. Your mind plays alot if tricks an makes us think we really need the food when we can overcome it so I guess what I'm trying to day is your not alone when it comes to family an temptations!! Happy for you

This is so upsetting to me as well all thus time you feel you have wasted an I do agree that was rude on her part to word it like that. I guess to maybe help you some atleast you can say you have been preparing your body for when you do finally do get banded. Hoping things go better with the new pcp an good luck an wishes for the journey ahead of you

Great job a loss is better than a gain an every pound counts so as the ole song says " Don't worry be happy". Lol

Lol. You make me laugh alot of times with your post it is what it is sometimes they are a fact an alot times they brighten my day .... Keep posting enjoy them alot of other vets post as well

You can do this more than you think you can you have come so far I'm here if you ever just need to vent we all need to do this sometime

Wow wow wow that is a lot of weight to be loosing an yep it probly depends on how much your current weight is as to how fast your loosing bit have to say that's awesome !'

I was very saddend to hear of this even though your not an April band your still part of the band family look at like that an you can still post am keep us updated on your goals an status .... Keeping you on my prayers !!!

I had my first appt on march 5 th an will be banded April 2 so the process will move faster than you ever thought an the replies so far are correct it really depends on where am who is doing the surgery an if you are filing on insurance Welcome to the band families

Try adding a tsp of vanilla extract to it will change the taste. I also had trouble until I added this on day 13 an doing well .... Good luck to you an you got this !!!

I am at my last pre op appt before surgery and I have been on my diet 10 days now and lost 7 lbs. I will take that !!! Every pound counts ..... I'm one happy lady cause so far I have done something good stuck to the diet an ignored my brain .. Lol

While on my phone today my teen daughter says " Mom you sure stay on Facebook alot lately" my reply .... " I'm on a new kinda Facebook it's called LAPBAND TALK " Think I have traded in my Facebook for this now !!

I was gonna buy the gummies but I have such a fear of getting something stuck .... So have you had this problem with any gummies? I'm not banded yet will be April 2
