I have been on the fence about telling my best girlfriends.. we are very close..been friends since junior high school. .and still are justbas close..2 of them live on the street...I am not sure... I was thinking maybe calling them on Sunday night ..before the surgery. I am not sure why I am so scared..they love me ..and I know they will support me...but......

I can't thank you two enough for taking the time to respond. .. I feel alone... because I dont know a soul that has ever had any wls... so when I have my thin mother telling me.. "just dont think about it" drives me crazy...... I dont understand why every doctor has different pre-op diets... mine.. is unfair. .lol. ... compared to everyone else... but I will keep on trucking. I added a picture so you can put a face to the tears...lol. I thought it would make me feel better.. NOT REALLY... tomorrow 7 days and counting....bare with me...

As always thank you for the support. .from you both... I just wish I didn't have to do this shake only for the next week.. I think I am making it worse for me...I am feeling really weak...so I am laying around instead of making myself busy... I am just looking forward to going to bed everyday and work tomorrow. ... my day will go by faster then this weekend... I am just a mess...I never in a million years did I ever think I would miss chewing. ..? Or real food.... I thought I was stronger than this. My "cheats" have not been that bad. I have made eggs 2 times in the last 6 days. That was my big cheat. Feel very guily.... but not hungry. .I just want this week to go very fast.... On the flip side I have lost 6 pounds.. I am 239 today. MAYBE by next Monday I will be 9 pounds gone and go into this at 230.. I feel better now that I have "Vented"..I am Sorry I am being a big baby....

Hey how you doing? Are you over your soda meltdown? This liquid diet .. (only protein shakes) is killing me... keep telling myself mind over matter.....but it is hard.. another 11 days. Wow..

Awwww... I heard that you can have "Flat" pop... I gave up my Pepsi on Super Bowl..Sunday. .. I have had a couple sips here n there.. but I do miss it.... memories. .

So when you say 2 cups is good..your talking about 2 cups each meal?

This liquid diet..is killing me.. today I caved and had 2 eggs & a bowl of chicken broth for dinner...oh and a sugar free popsicle. I know I wasn't suppose to buy I cant imagine being on NOTHING but protein shakes and slim fast for another 12 days..

All that is on the list is shakes..Protein....I use the Body by V shakes today and they seem to be filling me up..yesterday was hard with just the slim fast...I was going banana's....with hunger. . They told me they wanted me to do the shakes plain but I added 3 frozen strawberrys and a teaspoon if peanut butter... hopefully it will keep me full for a few hours till I get home. I called and begged to have my surgery moved up to MONDAY. .but no return call yet..surprise surprise ? Not... I am just Ready. ..

That will be the hardest part. .we eat out a lot. I am not much of a cook... been a single mom... and now that he is a young man..he is out and about a lot..he is not home for dinner.. and I will not cook for just myself... I have a feeling all this is gonna change...

I have an 18 year son....and I have to grocery shopping. It will be hard ...
