Hey I have a question, I got up this morning with a major hormone headache and I took some aspirin to get rid of it ,not thinking OMG my surgery is scheduled for wednesday. Now I am freaking out. Should I call my doctors office on a saturday night ? I don't think that I would feel better until I spoke to someone. My husband says the worst they can do is reschedule this, I could just cry...... Thanks for listening again

How funny, my youngest granddaughter who turned 2 in nov does that to me and always tries to lift my shirt and says "baby" because of her Aunt being pregnant. I tried running after her, and she is fast. I thought I needed to take care of this now. Kids are too funny !! Hey Kat, thanks for listening , I enjoyed talking with you !!

Hi Kat, No actually this will be my seventh and I have one more going to arrive in june. I was a little concerned that I would not be able to hold her. She named her Jacklyn Faith in december. One of my Grandsons likes to squeeze me and I volunteer at my Grandson who lives with me at his kindergarten class and they all love to hug. Those blender things look so cool in the infermercials but never seem to work like that once you get it home. Jitters Yeeeeeeeeeesssssssss , well actually not yet it probably won't kick in until tues and then I might get some. Have a superfantastic weekend (one of my grandsons favorite words)

Hi All, It seems to get hectic right before a set date. My surgery is on wednesday and I finally got the final tests done and should be goood to go. I had to postpone in feb because I had double pneumonia. That was no fun. Well my DIL is due on the 15th of the month,which is also my anniversary(can't forget that date) She went to the Dr and they might induce labor on weds. Hmmmm Well her blood pressure is becoming an issue. So today I am thinking what else.....Well OTR or as they say here AF. I still have to write a letter to my Dr stating that I understand about WLS and the risks and so forth. Anyway needed to talk, I try to get here and all I have had time to do is read a little and by the time I catch up it is time to hit it. Tracy ,By the way back to basics makes a model similar to the magic bullet I have had mine for over a year and works great. Everyone have a great night... CIAO

Hi Mazziemommy, Glad to hear that your surgery was so quick, and that you got to go home. Always better then a hotel or in the hospital. Did you have any discomfort going to sleep? Congrats on your surgery and to a speedy recovery. ALthough cleaning house already....WOW thats great. Well except for doing housework...

I saw the ad for this and they sell samples at protica.com and the other was at bariatriceating.com. They seem a little pricey but if they are good, it seems like a good way to get protein. Have a great day !!

Hi Lisa, I am starting a liquid diet on monday and my Dr only requested me to go on liquids the day before. But I figure start a week early and shrink that liver. Who knows I might lose a few pounds before too. Which would be wonderful !! I am sure I wll think of a few questions....Have a great afternoon...it's saturday for U? Talk to you soon

Hi Lisa, I have not had the surgery but I am scheduled for the 11th of April. I too am married and have 3 kids and 6 grandkids and 2 more on the way. 2 is such a wonderful age especially girls, mine already picks out her wardrobe. But they are quick at this age and running after her will be easier without the extra weight. My grandson lives with me and goes to kindergarden, such fun. Anyway congrats on your surgery and I hope my recovery will be the same. Did you do a pre-op diet before your surgery? :welcomeB:

Hi ..... I have been reading quite a few posts here, I guess lurking in the background. So I thought that I would come out and say Hi... I am starting to get a little nervous, not so much about the surgery. But maybe the pain or discomfort afterwards.I am self pay and they send you home the same day. Do they make liquid pain medication? Tylenol? Would it be childrens? Can you walk right away ? I was supposed to do a walk for MS and I don't know if 10 days is enough time to commit to a 5k. Thanks in advance for help and encouragement !! I hope I don't sound too nervous......

KCQ, Hi ...I am having surgery the same day but in ca....I am a little nervous but a good nervous I think. My nutrition class is not until the day before the surgery. I hope there is not a lot of things to buy, so I have been looking online for what others have been doing. I am sure that everything will be wonderful.......

Hi Becky, Thats the one thing I am not looking foward to is the gas pains. I had my gall bladder taken out with a similar surgery. Yuk....Anyway I wanted to comment that you are a really fast typer. Is it a.m. there ? and it is probably tomorrow tooo. And oh yeah its summer for you too.... too cool

Hi again!! I am going to Fresno for my surgery. My Daughter in law is due to have a baby on tax day and I am really excited. I guess it would be hard to pick up a baby too. bsubabe I hope your approval comes soon....
