    Gaining...

Hi, I had my surgery March 9, 2007. I lost 15lbs. since then but I have gained 2lbs. Since beginning mushies and partly solids. I am following the plan. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it just be a fluke and it will come right off or do I need to worry? Thanks. Lisa

    Banded 'til I'm Light

Hi Lisa: My name is Lisa also and I can't say enough about Baystate! They are wonderful people and very knowledgible in their field. I was more than pleased with the care I got and I'm sure you will be too. Good luck beginning your new and wonderful journey. Let me know how you do. Lisa PS Are you from the area?

    Hello

Hi: I had a difficult time with the gas after surgery for about a week and a half. Sometimes, if you are eating, "or drinking", too many sugar free food or drinks, they tend to have a higher sugar alcohol content and that can cause gas, if you check the nutritional information or the ingredients, sugar alcohol will usually end in "ol". Hopefully you will feel much better very soon. Also, GasX is a chewable anyi gas that is very well tolerated and it helped me a lot. Good luck on this new healthy journey we have embarked on!!! Lisa:) PS I had mine done on March 9, so just a week or so before you:)
  6. Hi All: I am brand new at this, but I am in need of support!!! I've been told this is the place to be. I had my lap band procedure done on March 9, 2007. To date I have lost exactly 10lbs. Monday I begin stage 4, ground foods. I was wondering if anyone has any appetizing recipes to help me get through until I am able to eat solid food again. Also, in much of the literature I have read, there is very little tomato based products suggested, (V8, Tomato Sauce, etc), is there a reason for this? Can it be hard to digest or something? Well, I wish you all the very best of health and luck in your weight loss journey and I am looking forward to beginning this journey with all of you. Thanks, Lisa PS: I am from MA and my Dr was Dr Haag at Baystate Medical Center. I am 41, a wife mother, Noni, and a singer. I'd love to meet some people that are going through the same time frame that I am so we may progress through the different stages together. :nervous
