Ok I was just sleeved on 7/16/13. I realize that my question is very early on in this process. As of today I am 304, which is down 15 pounds since the day of surgery. I am 43 years old and I have been overweight all my life. I am 5.5". Question: what are some things,that some of you that had similar numbers, do to reduce excess skin. I don't want to lose a whole lot and then find out that I could have done something along the way that would help. I know I will have some, but I want to minimize any that I can. Awesome!! I too enjoy reading your post. I am having surgery on July 16 and my starting weight is just under your starting weight. You give me so much inspiration as I'm traveling this pre-surgery journey. I pray that I will have similar results as you. I am 43 and have 3 children that are 6 and under. I want to be healthy so that I can be around to watch them grow up. However, to be there, I have to change where I am today. I'm spiritually, mentally, and physically ready!! A lot of my feeling and being ready is from reading post from people like you. Keep it up!!!

Yes. I'm very excited. Like you said if traditional diets worked for us we would not be even looking into wls. I'm determined to keep my eyes on all the positives that this life changing experience is going to have in my life!
