Exactly the same. ugh!

I was banded mid semester--while taking A and P2! Nightmarish! My teacher was very nice--I didn't tell her until the day I returned to class and had an exam--I handed it in and said "well that's probably not my best work, since I just had surgery" and she said "oh! YOu should have told me, I would have given you more time!" Never occured to me to ask! Oh well. She is a peach and and excellent teacher and I tested right out of Pathophysiology because of her! I am doing online classes now and my biggest problem is snacking throughout the day, since I am just sitting here most of the day, studying and my kitchen calls to me all day long......

My band is great and has changed my life .......

i LOVE MY BAND AND IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE BECAUSE....... it has made me feel NORMAL about food. I am able to do what I want, instead of censoring my activities according to who will see me, etc......I don't care about stuff that doesn't matter anymore--I literally only sweat the BIG stuff. I feel renewed, have more energy, sleep better, laugh more. I feel like I can be seen for who I really am, instead of a physical image that didn't match what was inside. -
Happy birthday from me, too!!!!! Hope you had tons of fun today!

OOOH! I met an old boyfriend via Ebay--I was looking for a car (an unusual car--just wishing) and he had one for sale and had a ME page attached to his auction. The pix loaded sooo slowly, I almost clicked the back button, but low and behold, there he was! I nearly died! I emailed his business the next day, and he emailed me right back--and then daily for a while. I am married and so is he, both of us have kids......But it was fun to rehash all those great times and talk about what might have been. Go for it! You just never know where it might end up! :0)

I saw a gal (super cute and thin) who I have always really liked and we live in the same small town, but never see each other. We chatted briefly last night while lugging our kids thru town trick or treating.....today she called me and said "I couldn't fall all over you in the street but you look amazing!". So nice that she took the time to call to say congrats! Made my whole day. So, that got me thinking--I have never posted pix of myself on the board, so here is a brief pictorial before and after (but not to goal yet!) this is summer 2004(pre band)--with my mom and my sweet boy, Denny: This pix is December 2004--4 months after banding (I bought the matching Hanna Andersson skirt to match my DH and DS, but I couldn't get my left thigh in it, much less wear it--totally delusional!): This is recent-Sept 14th with my little boy again! No sleep, no makeup and just after my brother's funeral. Sooo tired, but I like this photo. It's very real to me. All hail progress!!!!!!! -

I wondered how this became the KimberlyFamily/Lesbian thread....... not that there's anything wrong with that.......(Seinfeld) -
Hi SunnyKim-- save your avatar on your computer, then go to "user CP" up top just about the "reply to thread". it will show you how to edit your avatar. Easy as pie!

Can someone help me make the last photo in my other pix post into an avatar? I have no idea how to do that. Thanks!

Of course I am biased, but look! That's my little boy and he agreed to be a clown as long as it was a "cool costume"--so he picked out the fabric and I went to work! I finished the shoes today and tadaaaaaaa! Pleased as punch--I am not a sewer and this is my first project!
