Waves frantically at Paula for a Taylor Hicks update! I had to work until 7pm then my son announced his science project is due TOMORROW morning--if he wasn't so cute, I would kill him! J/K.....sorta Anyway, so even tho I wanted to plunk down on the couch, I spent the next three hours teaching him about mixtures of colors and chromatography--he is SIX! We melted the coating on M and M's with Water and noted the colors on coffee filters.....ugh. Someone send me the mother of the year trophy, please. ugh. All that, and missed Taylor--! waaaah. What did he sing? was he aMAYzing?

I was not a fan of Kelly Pickler until last night--she is soo sweet and like Simon sez, she has that "x factor" that is so likeable.... I also thought Paris was a huge disappointment! I thought her outfit was so distracting and the song was just wrong for her. I, too, love Mandeesa, but I hated what she had on---I think Simon said "it's so cabaret". My favorites are Lisa and Kathryn McPhee and Taylor Hicks, of course!

I am going to close the sign up for this on March 26th, then I will PM everyone about who got who with addresses. My 6 year old is going to draw the names out of a hat--very scientific process!

Oh! I would love to be in on this! I am 42 y.o married for 7 years with a 6 y.o son. I like to sew and read (history and biography-type books) and am studying to get my BSN. I lOVE to play scrabble, hate to talk on the phone and like to make crafty stuff, but I do not like scrapbooking for some strange reason.....I wish my house was shabby chic, but right now it's just a mix of two adults who got married and it is what it is--ha ha. I am just in the first stages of building a huge victorian dollhouse--I don't know if I have the precision (read: patience) for this--we shall see! oh! and I live in Northern Wisconsin, in a tiny logging town with only one restaurant, one small grocery/gas station ,post office and a bank. 100 miles north of Green Bay--GO Packers! (love that cutie Brett Favre!)

I just got done making my son's valentine treats--slice and bake sugar Cookies with Peanut Butter inbetween, dipped in white chocolate and then topped with sprinkles. I think I ate about 6 slices of dough. UGH. I am with you ,sistah! DO OVER!!!!!

Easter? I have to get myself organized so I can do the Bunny exchange! Who's interested? Boing boing boing hippity hop!

:help: Lisa, I just told my husband about the nickel on a stick thumbtack--he thinks its a great idea (figures). Now about that picture.....I bet I will have a nice collection of these now too!!!!! My husband also is weird about bread--must have SaraLee cinnamon raisin every morning and there has to be two loaves available AT ALL TIMES! Makes me nuts!

Oh, I just read some of the previous posts--- I was sooo afraid of that King Kong thing at Universal studios, too! I mean, you go in knowing it's all fake, but waiting in line, those CNN type news people get you just whipped into an anxious ridden state! By the time that damn ape appeared I was ready to have a heart attack!

I have specific fears for specific locations, for instance, my mother's house used to be my Gramma's summer house. She always had the twin beds in the "yellow room" pushed up close together. My sister and I would jump on the beds and the goal was to not fall inbetween the beds because the alligator would eat you. I no longer jump on beds, but I won't walk between twin beds that are pushed together too closely, either! Another weird fear is whenever I go to lock a door, I am always sure to flip the lock really quickly, so that whoever (mad man, axe murderer, crazy person who wants to murder me, etc) can't have even a half a second to push the door open before I get that sucker locked! Makes my heart beat fast just thinking about it. Same with window shades......always someone lurking about in the shadows.....(of my mind!) I usually get in bed from a weird angle, i.e. toward the end of the bed so that the "ankle grabber" can't reach me. I think this even tho I know there is NOTHING under my bed--not even boxes or out of season clothes--I keep it that way so I can CHECK! I am a mess.

I was just shown how to do some exercises on the ball--I got my Bell brand ball at Kmart yesterday for under 10 dollars--I sit on it and act like i am marching--yiou can really feel it in your butt! Also do crunches on it--love it--and plan to work out on it during oprah!

Well, I don't know if Angie knows FER SHER what time she was born since she is soooooo much younger than me, but I know I was the first scheduled C-section of the day that day and that I was born at 0820. My mother always calls me at that time on my birthday--even when I was in school! So that is why I know FER SHER! :cake: I have one brother who was also the first C-section of the morning, 10 years later and he was born at 0843. Weird family trivia!

Totally not band related, my parents just left my house--after delivering the most yummy birthday cake EVER! White almond cake with raspberry filling! TDF! I had a small piece--soooo yummy! Also got some perfume and some clinique lotion for my face that I am to cheap to actually purchase! Nice! Happy Birthday to me! Thank you for all your birthday wishes! 42 years ago I was ummmmm about 10 and a half hours old. Big old huge baby with orange hair! :cake:
