Hi... I agree with the above comments... "I'm just sitting here crying ready to give up" you have a defeated attitude already. Lapband is not an easy fix - recovery is painful, and you will have to rest and be on liquids, it's a lot of sacrifice and you have to change your lifestyle drastically. You can't have breads, beers, sodas, etc... not a lot of people understand that - and if your psych wants you to get therapy, then maybe you have some underlying issues that you have to work out... Take your psych's advice and go through the process.... You will be a better LB patient for it Hang in there

Got my first fill today... A total of 4cc's in one shot. The doctor was shocked that my band was so loose and that I didn't gain any weight... I guess I have been a good girl, watching what I eat and exercising. But I definitely need to lose, it's not about maintaining at this point.

4 weeks post op... totally stalling on my weight loss, haven't been on the scale in 3 weeks... So discouraged, first fill is in two weeks...
