I had lap band about 6 months ago. For about two weeks I've had awful "full" feeling every time I eat. Now I'm getting a bad cramping/aching across top of my back. It seems to lessen up after I pass gas but it's more frequent. Anyone ever have this? It's terrible!

I'm two and half weeks post op. I have nothing in my band but when I eat a little to much I feel it stuck in my chest area. Is there restriction with just the empty band?

I've been in clear liquids a week and get to start full liquids in the morning. I am so tempted to eat oatmeal now!!!! Would a little really be that bad?

Was banded this past Wednesday. I was feeling bad but started to feel good. I've had the gas pressure in chest and it's so uncomfortable. I've been having green bowel movements but they are less frequent. Now my stomach aches and I feel hot and real crappy. Temp is only 99.4. Is this normal?

I'm starting to feel hunger for first time. It's so hard :-(

Dr. Courcoulas is doing mine. It's scheduled for Sept. 25th. She seems so nice. Excited!!!

The surgeon said I was accepted to the lap band program at end of march. I went to my pcp and he said insurance wants me to wait 6 months and write my calories everyday. Am I expected to lose weight? I'm having trouble getting into the right mindset. I want this surgery so much!!!!

Ok thanks! I'm hoping once I see the surgeon on the 22nd It will all feel more real.
