Hi all. I told my son. And he's great with it, always makes sure to get non carbonated drinks for me. But I also didn't keep my band a secret. I'm very proud of my band. Men like tools. And the band is a tool. All I know is. That there was no way I was losing weight on my own . And this helped and worked. So I sing its praises every chance I get. Best of luck.

Hello. First and fore most, call your doctor. They are there for you. and no concern is too small that they shouldnt address it. That being said, I had a similar experience. For the first week after surgery i was in unbelievable pain. It does get better. Stick with it, follow directions, and you will do great. Best of luck!!!!!!

Hi Georgia. First of all, anything you feel or concerns you is not lame. Know you can talk to some of us about anything. Now, I understand your feelings but have to tell you that you are wrong in this one. Not wrong to feel hurt, you are never wrong about how you feel. And nobody should ever tell you different! But wrong to put too much on this man. He didn't hide anything from you. He didn't lie to you. And you have to remember that he is an individual just like you. I wouldn't take it as a slight that he didn't ask you to this. It's a family dinner. If it were a wedding and he could bring a date but chose not to, that's a slight. This is not. Instead of reading into the negatives, think of the positives. He was honest. He didn't lie. But let him have one night alone with his family. If it continues than say something. But first time? I was told this once and it's stuck with me. Try to hold water in your hand. If you cup and cradle it you will hold it forever. If you squeeze it too tight it will drain through your fingers and you will lose it. Good luck. And remember, you can talk to us about anything.

Hi beachgirl ( great neme. lol) It is very normal to have this happen after a fill. I actually know people that have this everyday. They need to drink before getting anything down. Good luck with everythibg. I hope it gets better.

Walk. Walk. Walk. and more walk. LOL. Hi Mells, The gas pains are terrible for some in the beginning. And unfortunately can last a while. But walking is the only way to help that. Heating pad helps. Gas X does not. Walking will work best. Also, you did hust have major surgery. You should only be getting up to walk. Until you feel better and until You start to heal. It does get better!! I swear. Lexi, definitely normal. Your swelling is going to go down and restrictions will be less. And this will happen with your first few fills. You have to remember, your band is a tool and will help. But will not be the only reason you lose weight. Will power, life style changes, and positive thoughts are going to be needed as well. You have to give it time to work. And work it will. If you follow guidelines. Don't rush it. Let it happen.

You are doing fantastic!!! 10 pounds in three weeks?? over 3 lbs. a week!! You can't hope to do better. I understand what you are thinking. For the most part we've all been there. It will come off if you do the right things. And 10 lbs. in three weeks certainly seems like you are already doing the right things. Best of luck!!!! Keep your head up.
