I'm sure you look great. I understand what you mean though. The first time I lost weight (this is my 2nd attempt at the band) I would see a lady in a store and ask my mom "Am I bigger or smaller than her". I, like you could not get used to my new body and was still fat in my head. My neighbor told me one day "you have lost too much weight" , but at the time I weighed 20 pounds over what the doctor said I should. It is hard work. The lap band does about 50% of the work for you (in my opinion). With Gastric if you eat the wrong thing you get sick, with lap band you don't get sick. So you have to have the will power not to eat it on your own. I lost 70 lbs after I got the lap band. But then I started pushing it. I got brave and started trying new things. I learned tricks around the band so I could eat more. Well of course this only hurt me because I gained every bit of that weight back. I don't want to discourage you. The lap band is GREAT if you follow all the rules. I am starting my journey over now and I am doing it different this time. I had a friend with the same problem. She talked to her doctor and told him that she had to have the surgery before the end of the year. She had her surgery with in a month. They want you to get the surgery so if they know that is the only way you can get it, then they might speed it up a little. Good Luck. I don't think that is normal. That can be prevented by eating all your protien and stuff. My hair is just as thick as it has always been.
