? for PCOS women
jmckinney1233 replied to kileybug34's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have PCOS and have been thru extinsive fertility 2 no avail. I was banded nov 1st and am down 60lbs and like many other women w/ PCOS I have never normally cycled on my own. Usally I have 1 maybe 2 periods a year... But for the last 3 months I have been cycling on my own! I can even tell now when I am ovulating! I have been married for 12 years and we have been trying for all 12 of those years... After no baby after all these years and accepting that our lives would be that way its BOTH exciting and scary at the prospect of perhaps getting preg! I leave in all in the hands of the Lord. -

Yal have all been so helpful! Thank you so much for the feed back -
I haven't really found any real protien bars that I actually like... I told my nurse when I was getting my fill yesterday about the new Fiber One coconut and almond bars which are really good if u loke almond joys she asked how much protien was in them told her 6g she informed me it wasn't really considered a protien bar unless it had 10g of protien or more. She suggested that I try the Pure Protien bar so I did this am the chewy chocolate chip 20g of protien and it was ok. Any suggestions from you? I just can't seem to find bars that I like... The EAS or myoplex bars are terrible!

Althought I HATE to see so many people in the same situation as I at the same time it is comforting to know that I am not alone and that many of you have been blessed with gifts from God. Prayers for all! Thanks again for all the support! -

Polycistic Ovarion Syndrome Ladies?
jmckinney1233 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Since being banded on Nov 1st I have lost 55lbs and for the 1st time I have started having normal cycles. Married for 12 years have have been thru extinsive fertility to no avail and thru it all even with meds I have never cycled normal. So my question is.... Anyone out there had or know someone in the same situation and did it result in a baby?
