2MuchFun hit it on the nail. It does sound like you could use a small fill though. Continued success.

Wondering if my fill is too tight but willing to wait
Lady VS replied to honestitriedtofindaname's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I know you don't won't to get unfilled but it sounds as though you are too tight. I would get a little taken out. You should be back on solid foods now. Good luck. -
Interesting, I was banded at TrueResults Houston as well. Dr. Hollis never mentioned that to me and he and Dr. Reilly are colleagues. He did say if your not hungry don't eat, and I don't. But if you are hungry, eat and I do. Never heard about not eating prior to 1 p.m. Again, interesting. I have 7 ccs in my 10 cc band. Had my last fill in August of last year.

That is great that you could maintain yourself for three months of being unfilled and only 5 pounds. Simply incredible. Continued success.

LOL love the come back answer. In no way shape, form, or fashion is this is. Even in maintenance it is still hard work. Good for you.

Pain in left shoulder after hernia repair and lapband revisit
Lady VS replied to CAROLYNFC's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I also had hiatial hernia repair done with the LapBand back in December 2010 and occasionally I still get that left shoulder pain when I have eaten a little more than 4 oz of food per meal. It is where the band was placed which as another poster stated is on that nerve. After a few hours the pain subsides. It shouldn't be ongoing though however. Glad you went to the doctor to get a check up on it. Continued success on your journey. -
2 Years IN and Loving it!
Lady VS replied to everfeels9's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Way to go congratulations and continued success. -
That's funny because the lady that waited on me back in April 2014 noticed the same thing too with me. My reapplication process only took 2 minutes as there were hardly any people there which was a first in all these years of me getting my driver's license renewed. Anyway, she began asking me what did I do and I told her I had the Lapband done which to her surprise she had been debating on which wls she should do. So I was there another 15 minutes just talking about weight loss. LOL Kudos to you.

When I started the soft foods stage of the plan.

Yes you will get there. Congratulations and continued success.

You may want to repost this in the Lapband Complications section if you want anymore responses before your doctor's visit.

What was the hardest part of your recovery?
Lady VS replied to Lite'N'Sweet's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow!!!!! Thinking back to the first week. Geesh let's see what was the hardest. Not eating regular food and sticking to the liquids until time for the next food phase. Unlike others I was hungry after surgery and I was given two ccs during surgery. I didn't get my first fill until four weeks later. Trying to not eat more than four oz per meal. -
Congratulations on being banded.

I'm three and a half years post op and unfortunately I still think of food all the time. I am active but it constantly plagues me. Fortunately, my band is doing its job of not allowing me to overindulge with eating. I simply cannot overeat and believe me if I do, I will throw it all back up. That happened to me just the other day for the first time in a couple years. Just because we have this band around our bellies doesn't mean its going to control what we think and feel.

I wasn't down that much after just a month of having wls. You can't judge your body by someone else's. It will drive you crazy.

What do you miss most after Weight Loss Surgery?
Lady VS replied to Menelly's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't miss anything as I can still eat and drink whatever I want but in moderation. I have a few sips of soda every blue moon. Don't really have a taste for it. -
Are your family & friends telling you to stop losing weight?
Lady VS replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm three and a half years post op and my family consistently tells me not to lose anymore weight. Everyone loves my new look but at are scared I'm going to get too small. My doc wanted me to get down to 134 my goal was 150 and my current weight fluctuates between 140 and 145 so I believe I am ok. -
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Congratulations on being banded.

Below Goal, No Appetite...Is something wrong?
Lady VS replied to PrettyThick1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hmmmm not sure what that means. I would talk to my doc or nut and get their professional opinion. Good luck. -
Shrinking a Stretched Pouch?
Lady VS replied to depressed_bandster's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Yes, that's what I always do when I feel I've stretched my pouch. Always start from the beginning. Good luck. -
