Possible to get stuck on liquids?
Lady VS replied to TimeforTanya's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would call your practitioner. You should be able to drink tea, coffee, water, and broth with no problem. -
I totally agree with everyone above. Good luck and keep us posted on the outcome.

Awesome!!! Glad another way was made out for you. Can't wait to read your story in the future. Best wishes.

Do you think your life would have been better or worse without WLS?
Lady VS replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I would more than likely still be morbidly obese probably bigger than I was before surgery which was 231 my highest weight ever was 242. I probably would have exceeded that by know and would be struggling with hbp and diabetes which I never had and thankfully never will. -
Being in the green zone for me means eating only when hungry. Eating 2-3 meals a day no snacks. Sometimes I can't even eat a full meal just my meat and then I'll eat my veggies later. Everyday is different.

Do you hope to get smaller than your goal? Why or why not?
Lady VS replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I didn't imagine getting lower than my goal I just wanted to get to my goal. Surprisingly I'm 10 lbs below my goal and I'm very happy. -
Difference in surgeons is like night and day
Lady VS replied to TonyaNKy's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Sorry but I disagree. I was advised to not drink while eating but there was no way in Hades that would work. If anything you stay satiated longer rather than sooner. I drink before, during, in-between, and after all my meals. I always did. No problems and loving life. -
In one week I will be off diet restrictions
Lady VS replied to TonyaNKy's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
By measuring my food and portion sizes. -
I just looked at your stats and unfortunately I can't personally give any advice as I'm not sure about all of your background information in regards to how much weight you have lost or not since your surgery in 2007. But to answer your question, no I have not thought about nor do I plan to have my band removed. It is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself. Hope things work out for you. Best wishes

No Weight Loss in a month
Lady VS replied to prmasci's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It happens all throughout the journey. Your body has to get used to the different weight changes. You will start losing again. Make sure you keep up with your caloric consumption. That helps a lot. Best wishes to you. -
Sorry to hear that Glorig4. Best wishes is all I can offer you.
