I was banded January 10, 2013. Weighed 273 lbs. My current weight is 220. Have had 5 fills and still have not reached green zone. How many more fills will it take? What is the number of fills has anyone had before reaching green zone?

Went for my 3rd fill on Wednesday and was told I lost 13 lbs since last month. My doctor said I lost more than was expected which was 3-7 lbs. She said I really didn't need a fill but she was going to put .3 ccs in my band. The month before I only list 4 lbs. Doing the same exercises eating the same foods. Confused as to why I lost so much more the next month. Any ideas?

I am chilly alot now too. I even turn the heat on in the car when it's cool outside, something I would have never done before surgery. Feels good. Can't wait until the summer time! Loving the new me. Have a great day!

Thanks, it just gets so confusing at times. I just don't won't to fail. Seeing all if the success stories keeps me motivated. We are all in this together. Thanks for the support and you all are doing great.

Kind of nervous wondering what my second fill will be like. The first one the water came back up and I had to get a little unfill. I hope I can hold it down this time.

Just weighted in started out at surgery date 273 lbs on January 9th.Down to 246 lbs.. Two months in. One happy camper.

At first I only told my family because I was afraid of what others would think. Now I don't care about negative comments. This is the best thing that I could have ever done.
